There are a lot of dessert recipes in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Macarons, ice cream, and cakes of all shapes and sizes flow out of Chez Remy and your kitchen with wild abandon to delight the residents of the valley. In May 2024, the game added five new dessert recipes to its roster, each one a new delicious cupcake.

These specialty cupcakes are important for the Dreamlight Parks Fest Task 'Sweet Samaritan'. In this task, you must bake 50 cupcakes and deliver them to your friends. You can make any number of each cupcake recipe, but you won't be able to bake basic Cupcakes to finish the Task. The cupcakes must be one of the five specialty recipes.

Base Recipe For Specialty Cupcakes

As recipe in Disney Dreamlight Valley for some time, added on with "A Rift In Time (Act One)". This four-star dessert asks for Wheat, Egg, Cherry, and Agave, an ingredient only available in Eternity Isles. It's a good source of Energy, but don't expect to achieve the 'Sweet Samaritan' task by baking 50 of these bad boys.

The special cupcakes involved in 'Sweet Samaritan' are five-star desserts that share four out of five of their ingredients with one another. Each variant is differentiated by a specialty fruit (save for one recipe which uses something entirely different). The five cupcakes you can bake for 'Sweet Samaritan' all use Wheat, Milk, Butter, and Sugarcane.

While all five specialty cupcakes can be used to achieve 'Sweet Samaritan', each recipe can also be used in a daily Event for Dreamlight Parks Fest, where you give five copies of the cupcake to various residents.

Wheat and Sugarcane can be easily farmed over time. You'll be able to grow lots of Wheat and Sugarcane once you buy a few seeds from Goofy's Stall. Milk and Butter, meanwhile, must be purchased from Chez Remy in Disney Dreamlight Valley. In order to complete 'Sweet Samaritan', you'll need 50 copies of each ingredient, regardless of the cupcakes you choose to bake.

How To Make Mermaid Cupcakes

Special Ingredient: Scallop

Mermaid Cupcakes stand out from the other four specialty cupcakes in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Their special ingredient is not a fruit like the other cupcakes. Instead, if you want these Little Mermaid-themed desserts, you'll need to use a Scallop. Scallops are a type of Seafood that can be gathered around Dazzle Beach. While adding seafood to a dessert can sound a little gross, you'll find your friends love this aquatic treat!

Mermaid Cupcakes offer around 800 Star Coins and 1800 Energy, making them an excellent Energy booster similar to the basic Cupcakes. Since the fins on top of the cupcakes are designed to look like Ariel's fin, consider placing a plate of these cupcakes near her home for a splash of extra under-the-sea theming.

How To Make Minnie Cupcakes

Special Ingredient: Apple

The cute little cookies on top of these bright white cupcakes make Minnie Cupcakes a super cute dessert for your friends. They would make the perfect treat to welcome Minnie Mouse back to Disney Dreamlight Valley if you've yet to save her. If you want to make these shiny happy cupcakes, you'll need to find a nice, ripe Apple. Luckily, you should have lots of these in your inventory already.

Apples are some of the easiest fruits to collect in Disney Dreamlight Valley. They sprout from trees in the Plaza and the Forgotten Lands. You can harvest three Apples per tree, and those Apples respawn in 20 minutes. This makes it easy to bake lots of Minnie Cupcakes for 'Sweet Samaritan'.

How To Make Princess Aurora Raspberry Cupcakes

Special Ingredient: Raspberry

Just like the dress of the princess they're named after, the Princess Aurora Raspberry Cupcakes can't decide whether they're pink or blue! Whatever the case, Princess Aurora Raspberry Cupcakes may be even easier to make than Minnie Cupcakes thanks to the widespread availability of their special fruit; the lovely Raspberry. Pink wins the day for this dessert!

Raspberries are a popular fruit and necessary to make one of Mulan's tea recipes in Disney Dreamlight Valley. You can collect Raspberries from two different sources. You can pluck them from bushes in the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow, or you may be able to purchase them from Goofy's Stall in the Peaceful Meadow. The Raspberries in Princess Aurora Raspberry Cupcakes give you even more Energy than the Mermaid Cupcakes upon consumption.

How To Make Spaceship Earth Cupcakes

Special Ingredient: Coconut

Offering close to 2,500 Energy, the Spaceship Earth Cupcakes live up to their name as an out-of-this-world five-star dessert in Disney Dreamlight Valley. These cupcakes get their special fruity splash from Coconuts, but this may confuse some players who have yet to find any Coconuts in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This special ingredient is locked behind a specific resident's quest line.

If you want to unlock Coconuts in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you'll first need to invite Maui to your village via the Moana Realm. Coconuts arrive in the valley via Maui's Friendship Quest, "Burying The Eel". Inspired by his big song in Moana where he brags about burying an eel's guts to sprout coconut trees, Maui recruits you to plant said trees around Dazzle Beach. Completing the quest will give you permanent access to Coconuts.

How To Make Stitch Cupcakes

Special Ingredient: Blueberry

The last specialty cupcakes available in Disney Dreamlight Valley are the Stitch Cupcakes, which sport beautiful bright blue frosting and adorable Stitch ears on the sides. In order to get this bright blue color, you'll need to collect Blueberries, which grow on bushes throughout Dazzle Beach and the Forest of Valor. There's also a chance of purchasing them from Goofy's Stall in the Forest of Valor.

Since Blueberries are only used for a few specific recipes (and I have an unhealthy love of Stitch), I suggest u your Blueberry stores to make lots of Stitch Cupcakes for 'Sweet Samaritan'. Their high Energy content and their happy demeanor are sure to brighten someone's day. This final recipe fits in well with the other specialty cupcakes in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
