The Tales of Agrabah update has finally arrived in Disney Dreamlight Valley and with it, two new villagers, Aladdin and Princess Jasmine, need your help getting back home. To bring them to the valley, you'll first need to venture into the new Aladdin realm in the Dreamlight Castle.

To unlock the Aladdin realm door, you'll need 15,000 Dreamlight. If you don't have enough, you can earn more through completing dreamlight duties or by crafting it using Dream Shards. Note that the new Floating Islands will also each cost 15,000 Dreamlight, and crafting Tiana's Slow Cooker requires some as well, so ensure you don't accidentally spend it elsewhere first.

The Ancient Revealed

Head To Agrabah and Meet Princess Jasmine

Once you have enough Dreamlight to unlock the door with Merlin, head inside the Aladdin door to be transported to Agrabah. When you arrive, you'll be just outside the city walls, and as you approach, you'll find that Jasmine is separated from you by rocks you can't break. This is not a glitch: you need to find another way around it. Head up the plank to the left of you and interact with another to create a path.

If you're familiar with the Aladdin films, like me, you'll find all the back alley traversing that you'll be doing quite familiar. Continue up the path until you reach the wooden platform. You will need to use your pickaxe here to break it and turn it into a downward ramp. Keep going, repeating these steps until you reach the small dust devils. Here, you need to evade the dust devils. There are only three, so just watch their paths and time it right.

Aside from Aladdin and Princess Jasmine, Disney Dreamlight Valley is getting some quality-of-life updates that might be even more exciting.

Once you're through, continue on until you reach the end of the alley where two doors are opposite each other at a dead end. The left one is locked, so break the plank on the right one and open it. Now you can reach Jasmine over on the left once you head through the door. Speak with her to learn of all the chaos that broke out once they began doing some construction in Agrabah. She will now explain that to break the rocks in Agrabah, you need an upgrade for the pickaxe.

Follow her to the Artisans' District, which will be blocked by the rocks you can't break yet. To find another way around, you'll need three planks. The first is right beside her, leaning against the wall. The second is back where the big sandstorm is, in the ground, so you'll need to dig it up. The last one is back where you found Jasmine. There is a ramp leading up to a platform in the corner with one dust devil. You'll find the last plank on the platform. Take all three back to Jasmine and place them.

At the top of the ramp you built with Jasmine, one direction will be broken, so follow the one that isn't on the left and break the wooden platform as you have before heading down into the Artisans' District. After talking to Jasmine again, you now need to find Artisans' Alloy, which just looks like Iron and is found in three separate chests in Agrabah.

Chest

Location

Chest 1

Near Jasmine. Turn around after talking to her, and you'll see it against the wall by a wooden stall.

Chest 2

To find the next, you'll need to go back to where the broken path was on the roof. So collect all the planks near Jasmine and the crafting table, one in the ground and one leaning on the wall. Head back to the broken platform, which is backtracking a bit, and repair it. Once you cross over, the chest will be immediately to your right.

Chest 3

For the last, continue past the barrel and grab the plank around the corner as well as the one near the barrel. Push the barrel out of the way and use the plank to repair the descending platform, where you'll find the last chest.

Once you've found all the Artisans' Alloy, unlock the door near you by breaking the wood blocking it and then return to Jasmine. Use the crafting table to upgrade your pickaxe, then use the upgrade in your inventory to activate it, and then break the rocks near Jasmine. If you lose Jasmine at this point, when she runs away, she is through the door you originally came through to find her, by the big sandstorm. Head down that alley, and you'll find her waiting near some more rocks to break.

Help her continue until you reach Aladdin. You will several materials and breakable rocks. Don't skip them. You need all of these materials, so collect everything as you go so you won't get stuck when trying to repair a bridge or craft something. When you reach Aladdin, there will be a quick reunion between Aladdin and Jasmine, after which you can speak to Jasmine and end the quest.

Brave The Storm

Help Aladdin Repair Some Stalls

After you finish Jasmine's first quest, speak with Aladdin to start his first quest, Brave The Storm. When you follow him, he will need your help to get to where he needs to go. To help, you need to collect Planks, Timber, and Rope. All of these materials are on the platform that you, Aladdin, and Jasmine are currently on, so you don't need to leave this area to find them. Repair the bridge and follow Aladdin to find more materials and another bridge to repair. Again, do not skip collecting materials.

A Year Later, Some Disney Dreamlight Valley Players Are Still Stuck On This Quest, And Gameloft's Advice Offers No Help

One Disney Dreamlight Valley quest is causing players trouble despite being introduced over a year ago, but the community may have the solution.

1

Once in the South Market, speak with Aladdin and use the Rose Water he gives you from your inventory to upgrade your Watering Can. Now you can use your Watering Can on the rotting fruit around the area. Aladdin needs 3x Sticky Items, 3x Rope, 3x Timber, and 3x Silk, all of which can be found in the South Market, so don't leave this area. You will have to navigate around the dust devils to search the whole area.

Once you have everything, return to Aladdin and craft the Stall Repair Kits. After crafting them, use the Stall Repair Kits on the broken stalls in this area, which all simply resemble a large pile of collapsed wood. When you've repaired all three, talk to Aladdin and this will complete his quest.

Monkey Business

Help Aladdin Repair The Broken Amulet

Instead of going back to Jasmine for another quest, you will immediately be brought into Aladdin's second quest, Monkey Business. Talk to Jasmine and learn about the enchanted gemstones needed to repair a Broken Amulet. To find them, head back up the ramp you came to the South Market from and at the top, you should see a bunch of crates across from a sandstorm. Behind them, you'll find monkeys hoarding the gems.

After speaking with them and Aladdin, you'll learn the only way to get the gems is to trade them for some Golden Bananas. Unfortunately, they can be a bit tedious to find since they're scattered throughout all of Agrabah, so their locations can be found in the table below:

Golden Bananas

Location

First Banana Bunch

Directly to the right of the monkeys behind some rocks.

Second Banana Bunch

Found in the marble area with the fountain that is left of the giant sandstorm in the Central Market where you meet Jasmine.

Third Banana Bunch

Go back up the path you first took when you entered Agrabah, until you reach the stretch overlooking the marble area with the fountain where you have just found the second banana bunch. There you will find the third bunch.

Take all three Golden Bananas back to the monkeys and trade them for the gems. Then take the gems back to Aladdin, who will repair the amulet. Equip it once he returns it to you, and you'll now have the ability to through the small sandstorms, like the one behind Aladdin. through that one to collect the Ancient Tome. Go back to Aladdin afterward, by the crafting bench again in the South Market, and this will conclude his second quest.

Breaking Through

Help Jasmine Repair The Alchemy Table

Take the Ancient Tome to Jasmine to begin her next quest, Breaking Through, where you will help her repair the Alchemy Table. To do so, you will need to find three main pieces, including the Crucible, Table Base, and Cauldron. To find all three, go back to where you spawned in the realm. The crucible is in some rocks in this area, while the base and cauldron are behind the sandstorm in this area. Take all the pieces back to the Artisans' District and repair the table.

1

After speaking with Aladdin, you'll learn you still need something to power it, including Charcoal and Fuel Bottles. Charcoal can be found in the fire pits in the Artisans' District while the Bottles can be found in the Central Market with the giant sandstorm. Interact with the stall there that has all the black pots on it to collect two of them. Take them back to the Alchemy Table and place one Charcoal and one Bottle on either side.

After that, talk to Aladdin and Jasmine to find out that the only thing left is to craft the lamp. You should have the Gold Shards already if you've been collecting them from rocks, but the lamp mold is beside the stairs in the Artisans's District, in the ground. Craft the lamp at the crafting station by Jasmine and that will conclude this quest.

Wish Magic

Find Aladdin's Wish Magic Remnants

For the Wish Magic quest, you will need to find the remnants of Aladdin's three wishes. The locations are pretty vague, and this is yet another thing that's hard to track down, so you can find all the locations in the table below:

Wish

Location

Image References

Wish Remnant 1

Fish in the quicksand, near where you first spawned in the realm. Fish all the spots available, as you will need every single item, not just the wish.

Wish Remnant 2

Help Jasmine repair the fountain by crafting fountain pieces using the quicksand mud you just collected while fishing and Gold Shards. Place the pieces and then turn all the pipes to ensure the water is flowing, which will spawn the wish once complete.

Wish Remnant 3

Head back to where you found Aladdin and interact with the sparkles.

Take all three wishes back to the Alchemy Table and use them to prepare the Lamp Enchantment. Once you've done that, talk to Jasmine and use the lamp to rescue the Magic Carpet from the giant sandstorm. This will conclude the Wish Magic quest.

Carpet Diem

Help Aladdin & The Magic Carpet With The Windcaller

After the cutscene, you will be up near the Windcaller. There are four crystals around the sides of the Windcaller that must be destroyed using the pickaxe. To reach each one, simply continue on the obvious path, breaking them as you go. When you reach the quicksand, you will need to fish up the log to help you cross, similar to the way you may have fished up items in the sand during Hades' Hero Trials in Storybook Vale.

You may not see the actual fishing timer here since it just needs one pull and isn't a real fishing spot. Instead of looking for the timer, simply wait for the button prompt and hit it when you see it on screen to pull up the log.

When you reach the monkey, you need to keep interacting with it until you get the prompt about the golden bananas. This should spawn them in this area. Just go up one ramp from the monkey to find them. If you go up before, they may not spawn until you speak to the monkey and he asks for them, so check again after talking to him. In return, he will give you the plank to reach the last crystal. Exit the Windcaller after destroying all the crystals, and you will now be able to move Aladdin and Jasmine.

Place the new home in the valley and talk to Scrooge to pay the building cost, which will trigger Jasmine's welcome screen. Following that, head back to Agrabah to talk to Aladdin and receive the Magic Carpet as a companion, then return to the valley again to trigger Aladdin's welcome screen. Equip the Carpet companion and take a photo with it to complete the Carpet Diem quest, and now you have officially unlocked not only Aladdin and Jasmine in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but the Carpet as well.
