Disney+ has a lot of exciting new content lined up for 2020, but it’s taking it a bit slower this month.

January saw the arrival of a lot of content from National Geographic, among those the documentary series Year Million and the Drain The Great Lakes series, as well as some The Lion King.

February will continue bringing new episodes of series that have already debuted on the platform, as well as a bunch of movies (live-action, animated, and some good old classics), an original movie, and the new season of a beloved Star Wars animated series. Here’s everything new to Disney+ in February, 2020.

National Geographic

NatGeo Wicked Tuna

For those into series about nature, National Geographic has you covered with two very different TV series. Seasons 1 and 2 of Unlikely Animal Friends will be available this month, so you can take a look at some of the (truly heartwarming) bonds created between animals that seem like unusual matches. Disney+ is also adding seasons 1 and 2 of the reality TV series Wicked Tuna, which follows commercial tuna fishermen based in Gloucester, Massachusetts, and who fish for the lucrative Atlantic bluefin tuna in the North Atlantic Ocean. The series also offers a look at one of America’s oldest industries, and addresses the issue surrounding the fate of the bluefin tuna.

New Titles On Disney+

Disney has an extensive catalogue of films, and even more now that it has Toy Story 4. In addition to that, the Walt Disney Presents episode “I Captured the King of the Leprechauns” will be available to stream, and it follows Walt Disney himself on a trip to Ireland in search of leprechauns to appear in the film Darby O’Gill and the Little People.

Marvel Titles On Disney+

Marvel Rising Shuri

January had the special Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors - Battle of the Bands, and February will have more Marvel content to enjoy. Marvel’s Iron Man & Hulk: Heroes United follows the title characters as they investigate an energy creature called Zzzax, which was created by HYDRA, whose scientists were also looking to capture the Hulk and siphon his gamma energy into their own version of Tony Stark’s arc reactor.

Also arriving this month are two specials from the Secret Warriors as a normal teen. Playing with Fire is a 44-minute special focused on Inferno, whose powers are stolen by teenage criminal Zayla and America Chavez, who tries to connect with Ms. Marvel. As the Secret Warriors attempt to get Inferno’s powers back, Inferno is conflicted as to whether he wants his powers back or not. Last but not least, season 1 of the anime series Marvel Future Avengers will also be available this month.

New Episodes Of Disney+ Original Series

Diary of a future president

Instead of releasing all episodes of a season in one day, Disney+ is opting for taking it one episode at a time, and so this month will have new episodes of series that have already premiered on the platform. Subscribers will get to enjoy the rest of season 1 of Diary of a Future President, new stories from the documentary series Marvel’s Hero Project, more segments from the documentary One Day at Disney, and season 2 of Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings, which will provide more behind-the-scenes looks at the weddings and engagements that take place at Disney destinations.

Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made

Based on the book series of the same name by Stephan Pastis, Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival last month and has been met with good reactions so far.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars (season 7)

Ahsoka Tano faces off with Maul during the Siege of Mandalore in Clone Wars Season 7

After what seemed like the end for Star Wars: The Clone Wars season 7 will arrive later this month with a new episode available each week. This season will have a darker tone than the previous ones and will take place concurrently with the events of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, following Darth Maul’s plans to destroy the Jedi and the Republic.

Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars

Phineas and Ferb Star Wars

The Star Wars content continues, but this time with a different perspective. Phineas and Ferb: Star Wars is a one-hour long crossover episode of the animated series Phineas and Ferb and characters from the Star Wars franchise. In it, the always creative and adventurous brothers travel to a galaxy far, far away to help out some rebel heroes. Among the fun crossover details in this special are Isabella as Han Solo’s rival, Candace as a low-ranking stormtrooper, Perry the Rebelpus, and Darthenshmirtz with his new “Sith-inator”.

Imagination Movers (season 1-3)

Imagination Movers stand in their workshop

All three seasons of the live-action preschool TV series Imagination Movers will be available on Disney+ this month. The series follows the music group Imagination Movers who live at the Idea Warehouse, which has a variety of rooms with different climates and sizes. In every episode, they help many clients with their problems and come up with creative ways to solve them. As you can see, Disney+ truly is a family-oriented service.
