The Dragon Ball villain turned hero that has mastered just as many overpowered transformations as his rival, Goku, and now in an incredible piece of fanart, all of Vegeta’s forms come together in one epic image that Dragon Ball fans need to see!
Posted up on Instagram by name inspiring and downright gorgeous Vegeta homage.
Constantly grinding away to achieve a level of power unheard of in all the Dragon Ball universe and beyond, Vegeta is no stranger to acquiring a few extra forms when the time is right, especially if it means catching up to his Saiyan pal, Kakarot aka Goku, and once and for all becoming his better. Utilizing no less than five different transformations throughout the franchise’s long history, Matsumoto blending all of them together in an inspired piece of fanart is just icing on the cake for a fan-favorite Dragon Ball character that looks just as badass as he acts.
All of Vegeta's Forms Unite In A Single Image
Drawing Vegeta standing with his patented cocky grin plastered across his face and an oversized Namekian Dragon Ball under his arm, Matsumoto immediately shows why their take on this Saiyan prince was worth pursuing. Blending all of Vegeta’s transformations together with a visually striking rainbow-hued hairstyle, Matsumoto combines Vegeta’s Super Saiyan/Majin Vegeta yellow hair with shades from his red Super Saiyan God form, blue Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan look, and even his latest design, a purple shock of hair from his Ultra Ego transformation!
Furthermore, eagle-eyed fans will no doubt take notice of all the extra details Matsumoto has hidden throughout the piece, most of which depict events from Vegeta’s past that mark his history in a creatively impressive way. By inserting images of Vegeta and Nappa in their Saiyan Pods, his family in Bulma, Trunks, and Bulla, Vegeta’s Great Ape form (complete with his tail getting cut off), other characters from his past and present like Frieza, the Ginyu Force, Goku Black, Beerus, Whis, and more, Matsumoto (@matsumoto_art) successfully turns this Dragon Ball icon into an even more badass character than he already is, while giving fans a cliff notes version of Vegeta’s life, in the process!
