On April 6, 2025, Dan Mora took to his personal Instagram page to one of his newest drawings. Instead of his usual DC-licensed art, he surprised fans with an unofficial yet utterly epic crossover between Dragon Ball’s Goku and DC’s Superman. In the artwork, Superman strikes a heroic pose while Goku hovers midair beside him.

In the background is the green dragon from Dragon Ball Z, Shenron, the wish-granting dragon summoned by gathering all seven Dragon Balls. The image also features a Dragon Ball, along with the lettering of both “Dragon Ball” and “Superman.” To say fans are going wild would be an understatement.
