The trailer opens with Bardem's character, APXGP team owner Ruben, breaking down how Sonny is "the best that never was," highlighting how far he has fallen by pointing out that he is a gambling addict and lives in a van. However, he ends his speech with a note of hope, as he asks Sonny to his team anyway.
