Fallout 76's Atomic Shop is where players can purchase exclusive cosmetic content; however, there is also a way to purchase old Atomic Shop items that are no longer sold in-game. This workaround involves requesting items from customer , revealing a surprising amount of content being sold under the proverbial counter. However, items aren't free: players must still spend Atoms, and not all old items can be purchased.
Before spending any money on Atoms, it's worth noting that none of Fallout 76's best weapons or armor sets will be found in the Atomic Shop, as the Shop's main focus is on cosmetic content. Utility items can be purchased, but players can already buy them in-game. Requesting items through customer mainly allows players to access old items that are not featured on the shop front.

Is Fallout 76 Worth Playing In 2024?
Fallout 76 got a lot of flak on release, but it’s undeniably improved since then. Is it finally worth playing? Here are the arguments for and against.
How To Request Old Items From Fallout 76's Atomic Shop
How To Trade Atoms With Customer
To start requesting old items from the Atomic Shop, head to Bethesda's Fallout 76 Customer page and select the following options:
- Billing/Purchase/Code.
- Your platform (Steam, Windows, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 or Epic Games Store).
- I need help with the Atomic Shop.
- When asked if the query is about "inquiring about obtaining or gifting an item from the Atomic Shop," choose yes.
- Choose "I want to purchase an Atomic Shop item for myself."
Players can also gift Atomic Shop items to friends by selecting "I want to gift an Atomic Shop item to a friend" instead. The process is essentially identical.
At this point, players will need to sign into their Bethesda.net s to continue if they haven't already. This will open a short form that needs to be filled out with the relevant platform and any gamer tags, such as Steam or PSN IDs.
The form also features a drop-down Item List that players can scroll through to find the items they want to purchase. This is where players should select the items they wish to order.
Players can select more than one item by scrolling down the second drop-down Item List.
Submitting the form will send it to Bethesda's customer , who will respond with an email to confirm details and an attached purchase price in Atoms. Fallout 76 has come a long way since launch, so higher player counts may mean it could take a few days for customer to write back.
Once they do, players can write back to confirm and their order will be processed. Atoms will be deducted from their balance, and in return, players can expect to receive their brand-new Fallout 76 Atomic Shop cosmetics and content.
