Warning: contains spoilers for One World Under Doom #1The iconic Fantastic Four member Dr. Susan Storm, known by her heroic codename the Invisible Woman, is one of Marvel's most powerful superheroes. Sue, who is set to make her MCU debut in the film Fantastic Four: First Steps, has once again proven how impressive her abilities are in One World Under Doom #1, creating an intricate construct using her force fields.

While Sue Storm started out as the "weakest" of The Fantastic Four, initially only able to turn invisible, the icon quickly learned about her vast abilities - derived from Hyperspace - and eventually became powerful enough to take on the likes of the Celestials and Galactus.

Sue is, undoubtedly, the most dangerous member of The Fantastic Four, but she is also the second most intelligent, after her brilliant husband Reed Richards. One World Under Doom #1, from writer Ryan North with art by R.B. Silva and David Curiel, sees the Invisible Woman crafting a precisely replicated Invisible Jet, able to fly a group of heroes thousands of miles from the United States to Latveria.

"I Have an Invisible Jet": Wonder Woman Unveils the Deadly Potential of Her Most Underrated Weapon

Wonder Woman’s invisible jet might not be her most favored weapon, but it’s destructive potential makes it a serious asset in one tense negotiation.

While it seems like Sue is holding together the Invisible Jet with very little effort, it takes an incredible amount of precision, knowledge, and control for Sue to craft this vehicle, and keep it together. It has been established that if the Invisible Woman loses concentration, her constructs are destroyed, meaning Sue has to keep perfect focus during the entire flight from America to Latveria. Sue has made many constructs in the past, but they are often simple shapes or objects with easy mechanisms. Either Sue has crafted a complex invisible plane that is capable of flight using the same technology as a typical aircraft, or she is using her abilities to "glide" the plane, and all the heroes onboard, across the ocean. Either way, it is wildly impressive, from the unbelievable precision of her construct to the concentration she must hold throughout the trip.

The Invisible Woman Is Marvel's Answer To The Green Lantern

Sue's incredible new construct proves her potential

Sue Storm Invisible Woman Green Lantern

The Invisible Woman has often been compared to the Green Lantern Corps at DC Comics, since she is able to make constructs from her abilities just like the Lantern's own powers. However, DC's Lanterns - particularly Jon Stewart - are known for their elaborate and often architectural constructs, something that Sue is not as well known for. Sue's new Invisible Jet is the perfect example of a power upgrade that puts on a similar level to that of a Lantern, except she also has the ability to turn invisible and just so happens to have several PhD's under her belt.

For decades now Sue Storm has been seen as one of the most formidable of The Fantastic Four, and her latest feat has only further proven this point, showing just how precise and honed the Invisible Woman's powers have become.
