In 2019's Fast & Furious spinoff Hobbs & Shaw, Reynolds made a cameo appearance as CIA agent Victor Locke. Though Reynolds' role was small, it was certainly impactful enough to merit his return in Fast & Furious 12. Overall, it would not only be a great callback for fans, but also, it makes sense considering Reynolds' background in action movies as Deadpool, and his tendency towards comedy, which Fast & Furious is also full of.
