The release date, prices, and editions of new jobs in FFXIV: Dawntrail.
It is not currently known if Dawntrail will kick off another 10-year saga like the one that preceded it, especially since FFXIV’s director Yoshi-P has mentioned it depends on players’ involvement and interest in continuing the story. Nevertheless, if previous releases serve as any basis of comparison, the DLC should offer dozens of gameplay and continued updates throughout the following year, which help complement not only the story but also add side content to explore. Now, with a definitive release date and preorders available, it should not take too long before players jump back into the world of FFXIV.

Screen Rant has talked to Naoki Yoshida, also known as Yoshi-P, about the future of FFXIV, cultural representations in Dawntrail, and more.
FFXIV: Dawntrail - Release Date & Platforms
The release date for FFXIV: Dawntrail is set for July 2, as announced by Yoshi-P during a PAX East keynote, which was broadcast on the official Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC’s release, set to launch on July 21. The developer joked about giving fans a week to conclude FromSoftware’s highly anticipated expansion before returning to Etheirys. Like the rest of the game’s contents, Dawntrail will be available for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Mac.
To access Dawntrail, players will have to go through the campaign content of A Realm Reborn, Heavensward, Stormblood, Shadowbringers, and Endwalker.
FFXIV: Dawntrail - Prices, Editions, & Preorder Bonuses
The prices, various editions, and their respective preorder bonuses have been announced as well. The Standard digital edition of the Dawntrail expansion, for PC and Mac, is being sold for $39.99 on the official Square Enix store. The console versions of the FFXIV: Dawntrail DLC have not yet been made available for preorder in any of the storefronts they would normally be purchasable from. The Standard digital edition grants access to the DLC’s contents and includes access to the Shadowbringers and Endwalker expansions if the player does not already own them.
Access to Shadowbringers and Endwalker through this pack will only be granted on July 2 – or June 28, if players preorder Dawntrail and obtain permission for the early period.
Aside from the Standard digital edition, Square Enix is also offering the Digital Collector’s edition. This other version of the expansion is priced at $59.99 and comes with a few in-game bonuses. These items include an Ark Mount, a Wind-up Garnet minion, and a Chocobo Brush for one of the new Jobs in FFXIV: Dawntrail. These bonuses will be granted upon the DLC’s release in early July.
In addition to the two digital products, there are also physical products for players to purchase. As shown on the official Square Enix store, the first is the physical Collector’s Edition. This special version contains a digital copy of the Dawntrail expansion, as well as the three bonus items included in the Digital Collector’s edition. The physical Collector’s Edition also comes with the Collector’s Box, a bundle comprised of five items. This includes a special art box with FFXIV: Dawntrail artwork by the legendary Final Fantasy artist Yoshitaka Amano.

Yoshitaka Amano inaugurated a new art exhibition and, during the event, Screen Rant had the chance to chat with the legendary Final Fantasy artist.
The Collector’s Box also comes with a Viper Figure, showcasing the Warrior of Light as a Viper, and an Adventurer’s Cloth Map, which includes the new areas added with Dawntrail. Customers will also get The Unending Journey ruled notebook and the Adventurer’s Pen Case. The Collector’s Box is a part of the physical Collector’s Edition along with the digital copy of the DLC but can be purchased separately, without access to the Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail DLC. The physical Collector’s Edition is being sold for $214.99, while the separate Collector’s Box is marketed for $155.
Square Enix alerts that preorders for the Collector’s Edition or the Collector’s Box are limited to one copy per customer.
Preorders of any of the digital editions come with a few bonuses, most of which can be immediately unlocked upon the product code’s redemption. The bonuses include a Wind-up Zidane minion and Azyema’s Earrings. The Earrings are only equippable by Disciples of War or Magic classes and grant a 30% EXP bonus up to level 90, the current level cap. Additionally, preordering any of the digital editions gives players early access to FFXIV: Dawntrail starting June 28.

FFXIV: The Best Side Quests to Do in Endwalker
Blue quest chains unlock extra content in Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker. Doing these first will yield more rewards and lore in the long run.
FFXIV: Dawntrail - Story, New Maps, Dungeons, Raids, & More
As was previously mentioned, Dawntrail will pick up off where Endwalker ended, with players taking a long-deserved rest after saving the entire planet from its doom. The DLC is being treated as something of a summer vacation episode and will take players to the region of Tural, west of Eorzea. The location’s design was heavily inspired by pre-Hispanic cultures in Latin America. In FFXIV: Dawntrail, the Warrior of Light and Darkness and their Scion allies will attend a contest that will determine the next leader of Tural, though they will be divided into groups based on their allegiance.
Several maps, each with its ecosystem and biome will compose the region of Tural, from sandy idyllic beaches to dense jungles and even snow-touched alps. In these new areas, players will encounter a series of threats as they try to locate a legendary city of gold, such as Dungeons, regular 8-player raids, new Alliance raids, Variant Dungeons, and much more. The DLC is also expected to add new lifestyle content called Cosmic Exploration, as well as updates to PvP, new Unreal Trials and an Ultimate Raid, system optimizations, and even female Hrothgar as a new playable race in FFXIV: Dawntrail.
FFXIV: Dawntrail - New Jobs (Viper & Pictomancer) & Level Cap
Another big selling point for the DLC is the addition of two new playable Jobs. Viper is a melee DPS class that wields dual blades capable of connecting and forming a larger and more powerful weapon. On the other hand, is the Pictomancer, a new magical ranged DPS that uses a paintbrush and a color palette to conjure spells, both dealing damage and ing allies with buffs. In addition to these two permanent new Jobs, both of which will be unlockable at level 80, FFXIV: Dawntrail will later on introduce a new Limited job called the Beastmaster.

25 Best Cross-Platform Games To Play Right Now
Cross-platform games allow players to not only connect with friends on other platforms but also play anywhere, transferring their saves on the go.
ing the ranks of the Blue Mage, the Beastmaster will be a special class that is not usable in every type of activity. Few details about it have been revealed so far, other than it will be released in a patch after the release of Dawntrail itself, meaning players may have to wait a while before becoming a Beastmaster. To match the story’s progression and the existence of two new regular Jobs, FFXIV’s level cap is being increased from 90 to 100.
Despite being something of a vacation episode, it seems like there will be a lot of content to explore in Dawntrail, from an expansive campaign that has the potential to grow if players so wish it to, to new classes, a new race, many new maps, several planned activities, and a lot more. While it is uncertain if Dawntrail will start a new saga for Final Fantasy XIV, it certainly seems like it is leaving the groundwork for that to occur.
