Since its release in 2020, Fall Guys has continued to be a party game that people just can't stop coming back to. With silly costumes, fun and quirky levels and free-to-play action, it's hard to turn it down. With frequent events and quests for players to complete alongside new seasons, there's a lot to be enjoyed no matter when players return.

That's not all that Fall Guys has to offer though, as it now embarks on one of its most exciting returning events to date - a collaboration with Final Fantasy XIV. With over a decade since its release, this MMORPG continues to be one of the most highly rated experiences out there, including FFXIV's latest Dawntrail expansion. Now the collab event is being brought back after its first reveal during the 2023 Las Vegas FanFest, and players can make sure to collect anything they once missed out on.

Dive In Headfirst Before Patch 7.1

Like the previous runs of this event, FFXIV x Fall Guys will once again be a limited-time event for players to take part in. While it's confirmed to be returning as a special event at irregular intervals down the line, this is the only confirmed time the event is due to run so far. Beginning Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 1:00 a.m. (PDT), players can get started earning the event's rewards and participating in its unique events.

Lasting until the release of Patch 7.1 in mid-November, players will have roughly three to four weeks to earn Mandervile Gold Saucer Fame (MGF) points. With these points all giving players credits to earn the event's unique items and rewards, it's integral to get busy and pick up everything while it's there. But as it's confirmed to return, don't be too worried if this timing isn't the most convenient.

There are a lot of requirements needed to participate in the FFXIV x Fall Guys event, so be sure to ensure that each of these items are completed to jump headfirst into the mode. First, players will need to make a character in Final Fantasy XIV if they haven't already, ing the game and exploring it for the first time. Then, they'll need to reach level 15 along with completing one of three main scenario quests: "The Gridanian Envoy," "The Ul'dahn Envoy," or "The Lominsan Envoy."

After that, players must complete one final quest, "It Could Happen to You." Once all of these checklist items are ticked off, players can jump into a Blunderville show to earn MGF. This credit is earned simply through playing, giving players an incentive just to jump in and have fun while they progress their earnings.

FFXIV x Fall Guys Reward Items

With the most expensive rewards being those in the Gentlebean glamour set that's adorned in the pink Fall Guys staple icon, there are a lot of fun things for players to unlock as they go. Various Blunderville FFXIV housing items are sure to be perfect decor for many, while the Rhiyes Identification Key unlocks a machine that otherwise can't be used. Winner's Crowns and a Pegwin or Pink Bean minion can also be picked up, as well as plenty of other smaller selections too.

Ranging from 150 to 410 MGF credits per item, players can pick up 31 different unique items throughout their time playing. While MGF points can only be earned while the event is active, it is worth noting that any previously earned credits or future credits from the event will be saved, giving players a chance to save over time. Either way though, players should try to dive into this fun FFXIV x Fall Guys collaboration starting from October 23, 2024.
