Fortunately, the best locations have been mapped out and confirmed by the Red Dead community. When in need of Violet Snowdrops for various purposes, finding them can be as simple as marking the right locations on the map and heading out. Below are three such hotspots where players can find a decent number of Violet Snowdrops in Red Dead Online.
Violet Snowdrops can take a few in-game days to respawn, so players should feel free to slowly travel across northern Ambarino from hotspot to hotspot. In time, players can build up a good stockpile for use in crafting Potent Herbivore Bait or Special Bitters. Aside from using them for crafting, players can simply consume Violet Snowdrop to increase their Stamina Core. This is important to keep up with because Cores will drain ively over time.
Violet Snowdrop in Fort Wallace, the Central North of Red Dead Online
One reliable location where players can find at least five or six Violet Snowdrops is around Fort Wallace. Using the map above, players can set pins on the map in order to head to the right spots, and there should be a number of flowers to pick. Typically, they grow east of Fort Wallace, scattered around where the letters of the fort's name appear on the map.
Violet Snowdrop Around O'Creagh's Run, in the Northeast of Red Dead Online
Just a bit east of Fort Wallace is O'Creagh's Run, a large lake area with the Veteran's Homestead on the eastern shore. Aside from the legendary golden grizzly bear that may be found in the area, there should be a number of Violet Snowdrops to the east. Again, players can set some pins on the map according to the spots marked above, and the flowers should be easy to find.
Violet Snowdrop in Brandywine Drop, in the Far Northeast of Red Dead Online
On the west side of the Kamassa River and east of the Doverhill Observatory and Abandoned Trading Fort, there are a number of patches where Violet Snowdrops can be found. Around five or six flowers can be found relatively close to one another. Players should get their map set and head out to gather.
Violet Snowdrops can also be sold for gold, but they aren't worth much. Selling them isn't the greatest way to get gold. They're far more useful in crafting since Potent Herbivore Bait can attract higher-quality game than regular Herbivore Bait. Successfully hunted animals can then be used for a wider variety of purposes than the flowers ever could. Players should just keep an eye out for their distinctive purple petals, and they'll be easy enough to find and put to good use.
