Flash Gordon: The Girl from Infinity is a gorgeous reimagining of Flash Gordon, written by NYT-bestseller Marguerite Bennett and illustrated by Bev Johnson. Fans can follow along as voyager Dale Arden discovers a shooting star -- containing a girl named Flash Gordon, Savior of the Universe! But Flash has no memory of who she is, and together, she and Dale must uncover her past, save Dale's family, and rescue the alien planet of Omnia from the clutches of the cruel Emperor Azimuth!
Flash Gordon, having debuted in 1934, has become a mainstay in American storytelling, across several mediums. Several comic publishers have presented twists on the hero, including Marvel Comics, Charlton Comics, IDW Publishing, Dynamite, and Dark Horse Comics. Mad Cave Studios has had some impressive adventures as of late, providing the latest chapter in Flash Gordon's legacy. Now, a genderbent story will put the character in an unexplored world, leading to a truly fresh and unique twist that appears promising thus far.
Flash Gordon's Newest Adventure Maintains the Hero's Key Persona

Carla Silva, Senior Vice President and GM, Head of Licensing for King Features says:
For over 90 years, Flash Gordon has held a special place in the realm of heroic storytelling, a genre that has evolved as much as any over the years. Whether a polo player or a Jets quarterback, a mid-20s spaceman or a girl from infinity, in any universe, in any format - Flash is always Flash: a hero exploring terrains unknown, who leads with heart, followed by that trademark charm and wit. We are laser-focused on continuing Flash Gordon's legacy with extraordinary partners like Mad Cave Studios and with content that propels Flash's journey forward and connects fans to this beloved character in new ways.
Flash Gordon has frequently had adventures that could be shared with the whole family, but these comics will put the emphasis on young readers. This should prove to be a great entry point for a new generation to gain an appreciation and love for the classic hero. Mad Cave Studios will present a brand-new way of experiencing the pulpy, science fiction icon. With award-winning creators, a promising backlog of Flash Gordon comics, and a fresh vision, the next chapter in Flash Gordon's story will be absolutely unique.
Flash Gordon Quarterly #2: The Heart of Arboria will be available December 18 from Mad Cave Studios.
