Being a game that is heavily based on its expansive roster, many interesting and unique characters have been introduced over the course of Genshin Impact 3.4's Weapon Banner Is The Most Important Ever
Kaveh & Alhaitham Are Genshin Impact's Best Duo
Despite their differences, Alhaitham and Kaveh posses the best dynamic in Genshin Impact thus far. The duo plays off of each other as foils, as Alhaitham states in his lore. Although they fight frequently, they both cover for each other's weaknesses. For example, throughout Genshin Impact, the character Alhaitham helps Kaveh keep a more logical approach to situations, while Kaveh helps Alhaitham understand that not every situation can be solved purely with logic. This helps develop them as an inseparable pair, that each would not be nearly as strong of a character when examined individually.
How Alhaitham & Kaveh Represent Genshin Impact's Sumeru Region
In essence, the duo perfectly encapsulates the heart and brain of Genshin Impact's Sumeru region. Both characters help characterize the Sumeru region in its entirety, with Kaveh representing the emotional and artistic beauty, and Alhaitham representing the logical, scholarly side of the region. In a way, Sumeru functions on the principle of opposites; for example, the divide between desert and jungle, as well as the combination of nature and technology. In a way, Alhaitham and Kaveh further this dynamic, and are perfectly designed with the Sumeru region in mind.
Out of all duos in the game, no other dynamic seems to fit so well into Genshin Impact's history and story as Kaveh and Alhaitham. Hopefully, once Kaveh releases in the future of Genshin Impact, their gameplay will further reflect this dynamic that the characters have. Once Genshin Impact Version 3.5 releases later this month, hopefully more scenes and events starring the duo will be released.
