Kate panics at this potential reconciliation and later posts a picture of Julien talking with Jessica at her pop-up shop on Gossip Girl. This makes it appear that Julien has ignored Audrey's request to steer clear of Jessica and that she will her clothing line, leading Audrey to scheme against Julien.

Audrey's Gossip Girl Scheme Is Reminiscent Of Blair Waldorf

Julien attempts to explain to Audrey that she only spoke to Jessica to tell her that she would not her pop-up, but Audrey encourages her to proceed as Jessica's ambassador so that she can eventually discredit her. However, Audrey has another trick up her sleeve and plans to sabotage her with Max. The prices have been switched during the pop-up, and the sizes aren't diverse. Finally, activists arrive to protest the shop and chuck red paint at Julien and Jessica. Julien immediately confronts Audrey about it, who claims she did it so that Julien would stay away from her for good. Viewers can't help but Blair's scheme after seeing how this all played out.

Fans have compared Audrey to the infamous Blair Waldorf on numerous occasions. Not only are the pair unapologetically mean and share the same love of literature, but the frenemies arc brewing between Audrey and Julien is eerily similar to Blair and Serena's. Even more so, Blair was known for her scandalous schemes throughout Gossip Girl, and Audrey's latest stint fits the bill perfectly. From attempting to out Serena as a drug addict to accusing a teacher of romancing Dan, Blair always made it clear that she was a fighter and nothing could get in her way.

Audrey Neglected Her Boyfriend While Scheming Like Blair Did

During Gossip Girl season 2, episode 8, Audrey and Max completely neglect their other half, Aki, to scheme against Julien and Jessica. Aki slowly becomes more aware of the lack of he receives from his partners, Audrey and Max, who didn't attend the Tribeca film festival with him due to the drama they were causing and ultimately missed out on an important moment for him. This is similar to Blair's neglect of her relationship with Nate, as on several occasions, she ditched him for Chuck Bass to scheme against those who opposed her. It will be interesting to see how this dynamic affects the throuple in future episodes of Gossip Girl and if it will drive them apart as it did with Blair and Nate.
