Green power is but one of several forms of energy that make up the Emotional Electromagnetic Spectrum. Each form of energy within the spectrum, and several others outside of it, correspond to colors or shades that are commonly identified with the emotions expressed in most living beings.
The classification of different powers used by the Lantern Corps is similar to the way signs of the Zodiac are used to classify the different personalities commonly identified as existing in humans. As such, for every form of power used by the Lanterns, there is a corresponding sign in the Zodiac.
Capricorn: Alpha Lantern Power
Those born under the sign of the Goat exude Alpha Lantern power. The Alpha Lanterns were a special unit of the Green Lantern Corps established after the "Sinestro Corps War" as a sort of Green Lantern Inspector General Division. They were tasked with making sure that Green Lanterns follow the laws and policies of the Guardians of the Universe and the Book of Oa. As such, they prided themselves on being hardworking, disciplined, and responsible officers who valued tradition while holding themselves and others to high standards. The Lantern group that most closely resembles these traits is the White Lanterns. Represented by a pair of fish swimming in opposite directions, Pisces is a sign known for being generous, empathetic, and creative. Accordingly, the most similar power among the Lantern Corps is the indigo-colored energy of the Indigo Tribe. Indigo Tribe dedicate their lives to growing and expanding comion and goodwill across the galaxy by finding and reforming the most hateful villains. In rehabilitating those they find, of the Indigo Tribe rely, in true Pisces fashion, on their ability to empathize with others, while generously and creatively guiding them to change their evil ways.
Aries: Yellow Sinestro Corps Power
The Sinestro Corps was established by the Green Lanterns' arch-rival Sinestro. Once a Green Lantern himself before getting kicked out of the organization, Sinestro decided to form his own team using the power of the Spectrum yellow energy, which he believed was more effective in imposing order. While yellow energy is known for being based on fear, as wielded by Sinestro and the Sinestro Corps it also expresses tenacity, dynamism, boldness, and naturally, fearlessness. These traits would be immediately recognizable to an Aries, as these are attributes they often find in themselves.
Taurus: Green Lantern Power
The green energy of the Green Lantern Corps identifies with the emotion of will. To become a Green Lantern, potential must demonstrate a high enough degree of willpower to control the fear that is inherent in their work. Of the 12 signs in the Zodiac, no sign has a stronger will than Taurus, the Bull. Other traits that Green Lanterns share with Taurus include dependability, thoroughness, and loyalty. Gemini: Ultraviolet Lantern Power
Gemini is represented in the Zodiac as twins bonded together but often pulling one another in opposite directions. This dualism is a key trait of Geminis, and is also recognizable in one of the newest additions to the Lantern Corps family, the Ultraviolet Lanterns. First, there's the fact that while other Lantern groups are part of the known and visible spectrum of energy, Ultraviolet Lanterns are a part of the opposite invisible spectrum. Second, while other Lanterns draw on their surface emotions to complete their tasks, Ultraviolet Lanterns draw on the buried hidden emotions as the source of their energy power. Lastly, the Ultraviolet Lanterns' greatest difference from traditional Lanterns is further illustrated by the fact that they are from an area beyond the Source Wall known as the Dark Multiverse.
Cancer: Violet Lantern Power
Those born under the sign of the Crab most identify with the Lantern Corps group called the Violet Lanterns, or as they are more popularly known the Star Sapphires. According to the Emotional Electromagnetic Spectrum, Violet identifies with the emotion of love. The Star Sapphires covet love more than anything else and have made it their main duty to ensure that love conquers hate, fear, and all other negative emotions. Like Cancers, Star Sapphires are sensitive, caring, and protective souls who prefer to develop deep and intimate connections with others.
Leo: Red Lantern Power
If a Leo were asked which Lantern power they most identify with, they would surely choose Red Lanterns. While Red Lanterns are commonly identified with the emotion of rage, this is not the only trait they exhibit. Like Leos, Red Lanterns are self-confident, determined, and natural leaders who are unable to ignore what they perceive as injustice. Moreover, similar to a Leo's love of physical activity, rather than relying on generating constructs to attack and defend themselves, Red Lanterns prefer to use their hands, feet, and bodies to accomplish their tasks.

Moreover, like Virgos, the Manhunters are hardworking perfectionists focused on improving any situation they find themselves in.
Libra: Omega Lantern Power
People born under the sign of the Scales are known as fair-minded, cooperative souls who often use their immense popularity to find common ground and balance with as many different communities as possible. In of Lanterns, these traits most aptly describe those of Roy Harper's Omega Lantern. Originally used as a tool for Darkseid's attempt to control the Omniverse, the Omega Lantern resists control enough to free the heroes of the JSA and Justice Incarnate to defeat Darkseid and restore balance and connection to the Multiverse.
Scorpio: Black Lantern Power
Those born under the sign of the Scorpion are known for their intense, powerful presence, which tends to dominate any situation or interaction they find themselves in. Among the Lantern Corps, no group has as intense and powerful presence as the Black Lantern Corps. Moreover, just like Scorpios, Black Lanterns are willing to dedicate their whole self to the achievement of their goals. Indeed, not even death can stop the of the Black Lantern Corps. Lastly, Scorpios are often described as the type of friend one can rely on in touchy situations. Similarly, what more could one ask than to have a Black Lantern in their corner?
Sagittarius: Blue Lantern Power
The Blue Lantern Corps, like the Sinestro Corps, was established by former Green Lanterns who were expelled from the organization. In this case, their expulsion was for having mindsets that were at odds with the doctrine established by the Guardians. However, rather than turn against their former team, Blue Lanterns learned how to harness the blue energy associated with hope to establish a group focused on defending the vulnerable in times of stress and ing the Green Lanterns in their duties. Accordingly, the of the Blue Lantern Corps personify the Sagitarrian traits of honesty, independent thinking, nurturing spirit, and a love of freedom to choose how they want to live.
While the Green Lanterns might be the most well-known types of Lanterns in the universe, they are far from the only one, as there is enough range on the emotional spectrum to power a Lantern Corps for every sign of the Zodiac.
