There are eleven films and counting in the beloved horror franchise, Halloween. When you think about slasher movies, Halloween is one of the first to come to mind. It introduced the iconic horror figure of Michael Myers and spawned comics, knock-offs, parodies, and copious amounts of merchandise.
The original Halloween was released in 1978. It is still widely regarded as one of the best horror movies of all time. When your entire franchise revolves around a serial killer there is obviously going to be an absurdly high kill count. Each character's death is a little different, this list ranks the most unique Michael Myers murders.

The masked murderer is set to return for the Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends following 2018's successful return of the original franchise characters in the new Halloween. Fans of Michael Myers are waiting in eager anticipation to see what new creative kills are planned for one of horror's most inventive killers.
J. Black - Halloween 4: The Return Of Michael Myers (1988)
While Halloween III: Season of the Witch tried to move away from the events of the first two films, the 4th entry in the franchise brought everyone's favorite horror icon back in 1988's The Return of Michael Myers, which revealed that Michael had survived and was being transferred to a new hospital.
When the attendants casually mention that he has a surviving niece, Michael awakens and violently attacks them. What makes this kill creative is that even without any weapons nearby, Michael is an efficient killer who can adapt his methods by simply shoving his thumb through J. Black's forehead.
Charlie Albans - Halloween: Resurrection (2002)
2002 saw the release of Halloween: Resurrection, which saw a group of hopeful reality show stars competing on a horror series that was set in Michael Myers' childhood home in Haddonfield, where he killed his sister as a child.
However, Michael had returned to his home before the TV crew after he had finally managed to kill Laurie Strode in the opening scenes of the film. While Brad Sihvon's Charlie was setting up cameras for the show, Michael appeared and used the sharpened feet of the camera stand to stab the poor worker through the neck while being filmed.
Alice Martin - Halloween II (1981)
Halloween II may not have been beloved by fans or critics, but it still had some remarkably brutal death scenes. Alice was a student at Haddonfield High School and while her death may not be the most gruesome one on this list, the sheer shock of it is enough to put it on here. Alice was on the phone with her friend Sally when she started hearing screams from next door.
She wrongly assumed it was her neighbor being abused when in reality, Myers was at work. After Alice gets off the phone, she feels creeped out and walks through her house when Michael Meyers suddenly tackles her and slits her throat. It's a shocking jump scare.
Kelly Meeker - Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988)
Michael Myers racked up quite a few kills in 1988's Halloween 4: The Return Of Michael Myers when he hunted down Laurie Strode's daughter (and his young niece) Jamie Lloyd, who had been adopted and raised in Haddonfield.
As Michael Myers made his way through a new crop of victims, he is discovered sitting in the dark by Kelly Meeker (played by Kathleen Kinmont) holding a shotgun, which was odd as he didn't really use guns. However, Michael used the shotgun to violently impale Kelly, leaving her hanging on the wall in true Myers' fashion.
Virginia Alves - Halloween II (1981)
Another nurse died in Halloween II (1981), Virginia Alves. She was a respected nurse at Haddonfield Memorial Hospital and she was also the nurse who took care of Laurie Strodes after she was attacked in the original Halloween. Michael Myers decides to kill her in a slow, torturous way.
He attaches an IV drip to her arm and she is left to bleed out over a long period of time until she slowly dies. Of all the deaths, this is one of the least brutal ones but it's decidedly unique and different from Myers' typical killing methods. Her corpse is discovered by Jimmy, who was an orderly that had feelings for Laurie Strode.
Sarah Wainthrope - Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later (1998)
Sarah Wainthrope was a character in Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later, she was a student at Hillcrest Academy. She wasn't looking forward to the school trip ahead to Yosemite and who could blame her? Since she wound up brutally murdered.
Sarah's death involved a dumbwaiter, she tried to use it as a method to escape from Myers after he managed to stab her in the leg but she couldn't get her damaged limb inside in time. Myers cut the cord on the dumbwaiter and it caused her leg to get completely crushed. Then she crawled out and was stabbed several times before Myers hung her body with an electrical cord for all to see.
Floyd Benny - Halloween II (2009)
Floyd was a somewhat minor character in Rob Zombie's Halloween II. He owned property in Haddonfield, Illinois, where they often had to deal with tresers on their property. Michae Myers turns out to be one of those tresers on a fateful Halloween night. Floyd and some of his family work together to take down Michael Myers.
They do a good job of beating down the serial killer with iron rods and baseball bats but it's not enough to finish him off. Eventually, Myers rises again and he kills Floyd by lifting his body up and impaling on deer antlers that were in the back of a nearby truck.
Jimmy Howell - Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later (1998)
Another Halloween: H20 kill was actually a character played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt. His name was Jimmy and he was one of Myers' youngest victims. Jimmy was known as a troublemaker and at one point he was left home alone when Myers broke in.
He tried to call the cops but they wouldn't be able to get to the house in time so Jimmy armed himself with some of his hockey equipment. Jimmy's death happened off-screen but it was discovered that Michael Myers killed him with an ice skate! He was stabbed with the skate blade. That's certainly a creative way to kill someone.
John Strode - Halloween: The Curse of Michael Meyers (1995)
Michael Myers killing John Strode might have been one of his better decisions. John Strode was a horribly abusive man who married Debra Strode. He was an abusive alcoholic who repeatedly hurt his family and even disowned his own daughter. One fateful Halloween night in Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, John was home alone when the power went out.
He went into the basement to figure out what happened and was attacked by Myers. First, he was stabbed. Then Michael shoved John's face and head into the fuse box. He was electrocuted and his head ultimately exploded everywhere. It was a brutal, and fitting death for a different kind of monster.
"Michael Myers" - Halloween Resurrection (2002)
One of Michael Myers' most creative kills was actually committed by Jamie Lee Curtis' Laurie Strode in 1998's Halloween H20: 20 Years Later when she decapitated the man that she assumed was Michael Myers.
However, it was later revealed in Halloween: Resurrection that Michael had actually switched places with a paramedic who had found him, who was later killed by Laurie. This not only allowed Michael to walk free but also drove Laurie insane at the realization that she had killed an innocent person. Very sneaky, Michael.
