New leaks from Phainon’s Ultimate in Honkai: Star Rail 3.4, for example.
While Phainon may be the main new addition to the playable roster, given his status as an important Amphoreus character in the campaign, Version 3.4 will also host the Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works collaboration event. During the patch, players will be able to pull for Saber and Archer, as they will be adapted into the turn-based RPG. One copy of Archer will be given for free for a limited time. Aside from their rarities, Paths, and elements, little is known about the Fate collab characters in Honkai: Star Rail, though more details should arise in the weeks.
Phainon's Complete Kit In Honkai: Star Rail 3.4 May Have Leaked
Aside From Stats, All Details About The Physical Character Have Been Revealed
Although the beta tests should provide clearer details, especially regarding stats, scaling, and names, Phainon’s complete gameplay kit from Version 3.4 has already leaked, revealing details about his ive Traces, abilities, his exclusive Ultimate mechanics, and even his different Eidolon levels. The information, which was allegedly made available via the leaker known as Shiroha, was shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” on Phainon’s territory in Honkai: Star Rail may change his abilities.

Honkai Star Rail 3.4 Leaks: Archer's Kit May Resemble One Of The Best DPS Characters
New details about Archer’s gameplay kit in Honkai: Star Rail 3.4 have been leaked, and it seems he may take inspiration from a powerful DPS.
The majority of the gameplay leaks about Phainon had revolved around his Ultimate, with mentions of him not using a traditional Energy system, and the new leak seems to confirm those rumors. However, Energy is seemingly not absent from his kit. The rumors about Phainon’s territory have also been circulating, but now there’s a better sense of how he operates within this unique zone. The details revealed by his Traces also provide some insight into the ideal team comps for Phainon once he is released, and which characters, like Castorice in Honkai: Star Rail, may not be compatible with him.
Phainon's Leaked Kit In Honkai: Star Rail 3.4 Explained
The Character’s Main Source Of Damage May Be His Ultimate, Which Allegedly Sees Him Transform
According to the leak, Phainon’s kit revolves around the acquisition of Memory points. His Basic Attack deals Physical DMG based on his ATK to a target, granting him one Memory point. With his leaked Skill, Phainon deals Physical DMG to the designated target and adjacent targets (DMG values change based on whether it is the designated target or adjacent ones), and he gains two Memory points. His Talent mentions that when an ally uses their ability to target Phainon and grant him a buff, he gains a Memory point. He also gains one Memory point when hit by a target.
The name “Memory” point may still be subject to change, so another title may be used once Phainon is released in Honkai: Star Rail 3.4.
As seen in the leak, up to 15 Memory points can be stacked. When gaining Memory points, Phainon’s CRIT DMG increases, lasting for two turns. Furthermore, the leak says that upon reaching 12 Memory points, Phainon can unleash his Ultimate. As was previously described in the rumors and now corroborated in the newest leak, Phainon’s Ultimate creates a special territory, much like Castorice’s Lost Territory, called The Chronosruin Irontomb. The leak also says that the character transforms, which may be into Phainon’s true form in Honkai: Star Rail, which leaked months ago.
With this transformed state, Phainon allegedly becomes immune to crowd control debuffs, increases his own ATK and Max HP, and decreases the DMG he sustains. Additionally, all his abilities in combat deal an extra Toughness reduction of his own Type, and any self-applied buffs are extended by one turn. In this state, Phainon cannot gain Memory points. When the territory comes into play, all other allies leave the field. Furthermore, all enemies in the territory gain a Physical Weakness in Honkai: Star Rail. Within this Ultimate-driven territory, Phainon gains eight fixed turns inserted into the action order.

Honkai Star Rail 3.4 Leaks Hint At Unexpected Character Skin, But I Advise Caution
An unexpected character may soon get a skin in Honkai: Star Rail 3.4, according to new leaks, but I am particularly cautious about these fresh rumors.
While Phainon is transformed and the territory is active, the character allegedly gets new abilities. With his Enhanced Basic Attack, he can deal Physical DMG to the selected target and adjacent enemies while also gaining two Ruin marks. These Ruin marks are used instead of Skill Points, and up to six Ruin marks can be held by Phainon. With his first Enhanced Skill, Phainon forces enemies to act and gains Ruin marks based on the number of opponents. With this Enhanced Skill, Phainon also restores HP, dispels all debuffs, and gains Counter until the next special turn.
When attacked in the Counter state, he retaliates, dealing Physical DMG to all enemies, a description that seems like the Counter mechanic present in Yunli’s kit in Honkai: Star Rail. The leak says Counter DMG is counted as Skill DMG.
His second Enhanced Skill sees him consume up to four Ruin marks and, for each Ruin mark consumed, he deals four hits of Physical Bounce DMG. If four Ruin marks are used in the Skill, Phainon is said to deal an extra hit of Physical DMG, shared among all the opponents on the field. Lastly, Phainon triggers an Enhanced Ultimate when leaving the territory and the special state. This can be done once all eight turns are over or when Phainon’s HP is below a certain percentage in Honkai: Star Rail.
When leaving his Ultimate’s instance, Phainon deals Physical DMG to all enemies, shared among the opponents. The leak says the Enhanced Ultimate’s DMG multiplier is reduced if he exits the territory due to low HP. When his transformation is over and he exits the territory, all his allies return to the field and their SPD is increased, for one turn. An important thing to take note of, as seen in the leak, is that the interval between special turns during the Ultimate is fixed and, most importantly, that buff and debuff durations do not decrease during special turns.
This could mean that the game does not consider turns ing while his Ultimate’s territory is in place.
This would confirm my prior suspicions about him being compatible with the new Relic set in Honkai: Star Rail 3.3, Wavestrider Captain. With its four-piece bonus, when the becomes the target of an ally’s ability, they gain a stack of Help, up to two times. If there are two stacks when using the Ultimate, the stacks are consumed, and the ’s ATK is boosted by 48% for one turn. If regular turns don’t during the territory’s duration, this 48% ATK bonus may be active throughout all eight of Phainon’s leaked special turns.
His first leaked Trace says that when Phainon enters battle or his territory, his ATK increases, stacks up to two times, up to two turns. His second leaked ive Trace mentions that when he receives healing or shields from allies, Phainon’s DMG increases, up to two turns. Lastly, his third leaked ive Trace sees that when allies regenerate Energy for Phainon in Honkai: Star Rail, he gains a Memory point, an effect that can be triggered once each turn, resetting at the start of his own turn.
Rumors About Phainon's Hypercarry Status In Honkai: Star Rail Are Confirmed With New Leaks
s & Sustains Will Push Phainon Forward In Battle
While the leaked kit alone is impressive, especially when it comes to his Ultimate, his ive Traces essentially confirm that he is a hypercarry DPS character. Phainon will need the help of a sustain character, be they a healer or a shielder, to active his DMG increase, while s that regenerate Energy for him can help fuel his Memory stacks and, therefore, accelerate the rate at which his Ultimate becomes available, even if he does not use Energy, per se. A character like Sunday in Honkai: Star Rail, who regenerates Energy and buffs the ally, may be perfect for Phainon.

Honkai: Star Rail - Best Anaxa Builds (Light Cones, Relics, Team Comps)
You should optimize Anaxa’s build in Honkai: Star Rail to transform him into a powerful DPS who simultaneously operates as a Weakness debuff unit.
Furthermore, because Phainon is getting buffed, he would also gain more Memory points, quickly increasing the stacks he has at his disposal. Based on what’s been leaked about Phainon’s kit right now, it seems like the previous rumors and speculation about him were right, from his secondary form to his territory and his status as a hypercarry Physical DPS. After seeing the leaks, I believe that Phainon has the potential to revolutionize the roster and become this year’s most important character release, even if there have already been several ground-breaking characters this year in Honkai: Star Rail.
