There are six Signal Lenses at the top of Signal Towers in Horizon Forbidden West, and they are all located within the region The Daunt. The Signal Lenses can be turned in to Raynah for various resources. Aloy is initially asked to retrieve the Signal Lenses as part of the "Signals of the Sun" Errand Quest. After starting the quest, the Signal Tower locations will be marked on the map.
Signal Lenses can be collected before starting the Errand Quest in Horizon Forbidden West, but beginning the quest will make it easier to find the Signal Towers around The Daunt. The "Signals of the Sun" Errand Quest can be obtained by speaking to the man dragging a body, Maleev, who can be found north of Barren Light. A new marker will appear at the top of the cliff after speaking to Maleev.
After climbing up to the top of the cliff, there will be a few machines to defeat before Aloy can speak to Raynah. Raynah explains that the Signal Towers are being torn down, but the special lenses they use are valuable to certain people. If Aloy returns the six Signal Lenses to Raynah, she promises to make it worth her while. After the initial conversation, Raynah can be found in Barren Light where Aloy can bring the Signal Lenses to her.
Collecting Signal Lenses and Receiving Rewards in Horizon Forbidden West
Speaking to Raynah will mark all six Signal Towers on the map, so they should be easy to locate in Horizon Forbidden West. Aloy will need to reach the top of all six Signal Towers in order to retrieve the Signal Lenses. The climbing challenges are fairly simple and straightforward, so players shouldn't have any issues reaching the top. The six Signal Towers can be found in The Daunt region in Horizon Forbidden West.
Signal Lenses Locations
- Lens of Dawn: The Lens of Dawn Signal Tower is the northernmost tower in The Daunt and is near the northeast corner of the map.
- Lens of Morning: The Signal Tower with the Lens of Morning is northeast of Chainscrape.
- Lens of Midday: The Lens of Midday is south of the Lens of Morning and directly east of Chainscrape.
- Lens of Afternoon: The Lens of Afternoon can only be obtained by completing the side quest, "The Twilight Path," and it's located southwest of Chainscrape.
- Lens of Twilight: East of Barren Light, players can find the Signal Tower with the Lens of Twilight.
- Lens of Evening: The Signal Tower containing the Lens of Evening is located north of Barren Light near where Aloy first speaks to Raynah.
Once all six Signal Lenses have been collected, players can return to Raynah in Barren Light. Raynah will give Horizon Forbidden West's Aloy a total of 90 Metal Shards, two Greenshine Silver, and one Bronze Ingot. Completing at least one Signal Tower is also part of the Recovered 5 Different Collectables trophy. Signal Lenses are one of the many collectibles that players can find in Horizon Forbidden West.
