Pokémon Legends: Arceus features all eight of Eevee’s evolutions, and trainers will be able to catch or evolve the Ice-type Glaceon as they adventure through Hisui on their quest to seek all Pokémon. Introduced to the series in Gen IV, Glaceon’s ties to the Sinnoh region give it a chance to shine once again in ancient Hisui. Irida, the leader of the Pearl Clan, fights with a Glaceon as her partner Pokémon, but trainers will have to catch or evolve on for themselves to complete the Hisui Pokédex in Legends: Arceus.
To evolve Glaceon, Pokémon Legends: Arceus players will first have to capture an Eevet. Eevee can be found in the Horseshoe Plains of the Obsidian Fieldlands, the Crossing Slope in the Cobalt Coastlands, and both Avalugg’s Legacy and Avalanche Slopes in the Alabaster Icelands. However, Eevee is a rare spawn in the wilds of Hisui and can be tricky to find, and players may be able to catch one more easily in the Space-Time Distortions that appear throughout the five areas of the Hisui region.
Glaceon can also be caught in Pokémon Legends: Arceus’ Space-Time Distortions, but this Ice-type Eeveelution only appears in Space-Time Distortions that spawn in the Alabaster Icelands. However, these dimensional rifts are the only location where Glaceon can be caught since it doesn’t spawn anywhere in the wilds of the Hisui region, so players will have to wait for a Space-Time Distortion to appear before they’re able to find and catch this Eeveelution. Trainers will also be able to find Ice Stones inside Space-Time Distortions, which they can use to evolve an Eevee into a Glaceon if they’re having trouble catching one.
Evolving Glaceon In Pokémon Legends: Arceus
Trainers can give their Eevee an Ice Stone to get it to evolve into Glaceon, and this Evolution Stone can be obtained in several ways in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Not only do Ice Stones have a chance to appear at random in any of the Space-Time Distortions that spawn throughout Hisui, but players will also be able to buy one from the Trading Post for 1,000 Merit Points. In addition, players can earn an Ice Stone by completing the “Gone Astray… in the Icelands” Request as well, which will unlock after players complete the other “Gone Astray…” Requests.
However, Glaceon has another special evolution method in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, allowing players to save their Ice Stones to evolve Snorunt or Alolan Vulpix instead. After raising their Eevee’s friendship level until it’s ready to evolve, trainers can head to the Ice Rock in the underground cave beneath the Bonechill Wastes of Hisui’s Alabaster Icelands and evolve their Eevee nearby to get it to transform into Glaceon. Trainers can check their Eevee’s friendship level by speaking with Belamy near the Pastures in Jubilife Village, but Legends: Arceus will also notify players as soon as their Eevee is ready to evolve.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is available on Nintendo Switch.
