Disney Dreamlight Valley has many Disney characters to meet and interact with, including the sea-faring princess Moana. The island princess will make a great addition to any player's Valley and help progress in the long run. Fortunately, unlocking Moana isn't difficult and only requires completing a few tasks in her realm.

Unlocking Moana is a worthwhile endeavor in Disney Dreamlight Valley because it not only gives players another Disney friend to make but also earns some great bonuses over time. One of these bonuses is unlocking the quest to fix the canoe on Dazzle Beach, which upon completion, gives players the choice to automate fishing. Other bonuses include additional star coins, decorations, and even outfits. All of this can be obtained by increasing the friendship level with Moana after unlocking her and giving her a home in the Valley.

In order to unlock Moana, the Dream Castle must first be unlocked in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This can be done by completing Merlin's mission and removing the Night Thorns blocking the castle's entrance. After completing the quest and entering the castle, players will be greeted by three Realm doors covered in thorns. These doors will give access to different Disney realms and can be unlocked in any ord. However, any door not unlocked first will cost more dreamlight in the future. To unlock Moana first, choose the option "the ocean with a demigod." Once in the realm, Moana can be found near her boat.

Completing Moana's Quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Helping Moana and Maui in Disney Dreamlight Valley

In order to bring Moana back to the Valley, a series of quests must be completed in her Disney realm. "After the Storm" is the first quest, which will require players to pick up eight planks of wood (provided they have enough inventory space in Dreamlight Valley) and dig through dirt mounds for silk in order to make her boat sailable. Then, players will be asked to talk to Maui in order to enchant their pickaxe. Maui will help progression only after completing the quiz about himself, and the answers to said quiz can be found after talking back and forth between Moana and Maui. Once the quiz is completed, and players have used the pickaxe to free Moana's ship, set sail, and start the "How Far You'll Go" quest by talking to Moana.

For the next quest, Moana will provide a map and ask players to explore new areas in search of a light that will break through the fog. Go to the Coral Reefs, and a torch can be found that will meet the requirement. After sailing through the mist with the torch, Moana and the players will arrive at the good fishing spots area. Use a Disney Dreamlight Valley fishing rod to catch a fish in the area and present it to Moana. Finally, she will agree to return to the Valley, with the condition that a home is prepared for her. From there, return to the Valley, construct Moana's home, and begin befriending the Disney princess in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
