Adam Sandler's Netflix movie, Hubie Halloween, cast a wide range of familiar faces with several cameos for fans to spot. The horror-comedy is directed by Steven Brill, the man behind Little Nicky, another film starring Sandler. Hubie Halloween marks the sixth Netflix film starring Sandler in the lead role, and the Hubie Halloween cast in an all-star assembly gathered to celebrate the spooky holiday season.
Hubie Halloween follows a Salem resident that vows to keep his fellow townspeople safe each and every Halloween. He's known for casually monitoring the area to make sure everyone is following the rules, making him a target for local bullies. This year, however, an escaped criminal is on the loose, and a number of people begin to go missing. Hubie emerges as the only person equipped to stop the threat.
Hubie Halloween is a classic-Sandler comedy movie compared to other Netflix outings like Uncut Gems. Adam Sandler As Hubie Dubois
Adam Sandler takes the lead in the Hubie Halloween cast as Hubie Dubois. A longtime resident of Salem, Massachusetts, Hubie has a big heart, but he's viewed as the town weirdo so he's often mocked and picked on. Despite the constant bullying, Hubie sets out to protect the town every Halloween. Sandler has decades of notable movies under his belt but some recent titles for the Hubie Halloween was also written/produced by Sandler.
Kevin James As Officer Steve Downing
Kevin James plays Steve Downing, the lead police officer in Salem that has a history of not taking Hubie seriously. James has a history of working alongside Sandler in movies such as I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, Grown Ups, Grown Ups 2, and Pixels. The actor is also recognized for his roles in The King of Queens and Kevin Can Wait.
Julie Bowen As Violet Valentine
Julie Bowen portrays Hubie Halloween's female lead, Violet Valentine. The mother of three is divorced from Steve, and she always had a soft spot in her heart for former classmate Hubie. Bowen previously starred alongside Sandler in 1996's Happy Gilmore as Virginia Venit, but the actress is also known for her work in Dawson's Creek, Boston Legal, and Lost, but mainly, Modern Family. It's important to note that Violet's daughters in the movie are played by Sandler's real-life kids.
Steve Buscemi As Walter Lambert
Steve Buscemi (the infamous character actor most known for portraying Mr. Pink in Reservoir Dogs) stars as Walter Lambert, Hubie's new mysterious neighbor who turns out to be an escaped patient and werewolf named Nick Hudson. Buscemi made notable cameos in previous Sandler movies like Billy Madison, The Wedding Singer, Mr. Deeds, Grown Ups, and The Ridiculous 6. The actor is also known for his past work in Reservoir Dogs, Con Air, The Big Lebowski, and Boardwalk Empire.
June Squibb as Mrs. Dubois
Hubie's elderly mother who wants to protect her son from his various bullies. The legendary actress, best known for her award-winning role in Nebraska, recently worked on Palm Springs, Toy Story 4, Father Figures, and Good Girls.
Ray Liotta as Mr. Landolfa
A local in town who enjoys pulling pranks on Hubie. Liotta is best known for playing Henry Hill in Goodfellas, Ray Sinclair in Something Wild, Shoeless Joe Jackson in Field of Dreams, and Matt Wozniak is Shades of Blue.
Kenan Thompson as Officer Blake
Officer Downing's right-hand man and a fellow cop in Salem. The former Nickelodeon star with recent voice roles in Trolls World Tour, Wonder Park, and The Grinch, also serves as a regular cast member in Saturday Night Live.
Noah Schnapp as Tommy Valentine
Violet's teenage son and one of the only characters that treats Hubie with respect. Schnapp is best known for playing Will Byers in Netflix's Stranger Things.
Michael Chiklis as Father Dave
Salem's local preacher that worries about Hubie's behavior. Aside from playing Vic Mackey on The Shield, Chiklis is known for his work in American Horror Story and Gotham.
Paris Berelc as Megan
Tommy's crush and the barista at the town's coffee shop. Berelc has previously starred in Alexa & Katie, Lab Rats: Elite Force, and Mighty Med.
