Gacha games can be hit or miss depending on how punishing it can be for free-to-play players, but thankfully, Infinity Nikki isn't too stingy with its currency, Diamonds. In-game, you can get diamonds in many ways, which isn't always typical for Gachas. Everyone knows that free gacha games make money through microtransactions, but if you're not interested in spending boatloads of cash to get the five-star dress you want, there are ways to earn pulls without paying.

As Infinity Nikki is newly released, there are plenty of pre-registration and other assorted rewards for new players to pick up that will get them started off with free pulls. However, those will run dry sooner or later, leaving players searching for ways to keep building their closets. As you play, you'll be able to gather Diamonds from many different sources, and you'll soon learn which of these are repeatable sources of the game's currency.

What Diamonds Are Used For In Infinity Nikki

Trade Diamonds For Resonite and Revelation Crystals

Infinity Nikki Resonance Banners for temporary Gacha store outfits

As currency, Diamonds can be used for many things across Miraland, but their primary use is getting Resonite Crystals and Revelation Crystals, which can be used to pull from the game's two Gachas. The first is the currency for the permanent banner, while the second is for the limited-time banner, which changes occasionally. Right now, the two limited banners are Blooming Fantasy and Butterfly Dream, one of which gives a pretty cute re-skin for the Floating Ability Outfit, and the other gives Whimsical Ability Outfit.

Unlike other Gachas, Infinity Nikki's free-to-play players aren't barred from any content.

The permanent banner is called Distant Sea, and it features four different re-skins for various Ability Outfits in the game. These give no benefit other than some variety, and as the Ability Outfits are key to your gameplay, you will see them a lot. If you're interested in switching things up a bit as you traverse Miraland, pulling from the permanent banner is the choice for you.

How To Get More Diamonds For Free

Complete Daily Wishes, Upgrade Your Compendium, And More

Like most gacha games, there is a way to get free diamonds regularly in Infinity Nikki, but it will likely become a bit of a grind as you get further into the game. Your Daily tasks include the following:

Task

Total Diamonds

Daily Wishes

90

Code/Inbox Rewards

Variable

While 90 Diamonds a day doesn't seem like much, you'll be able to get Diamonds from other sources as well. The Diamonds you'll get from Codes are inconsistent, but checking for active codes and rewards in your inbox in-game might surprise you with a free gift, so it's worth doing consistently. Outside of the guaranteed Diamonds you get from completing Daily Wishes, there are many other sources of Diamonds in-game.

The Incode team occasionally pushes an issue fix and gives s free Crystals, though this isn't guaranteed every time there's a problem in-game.

Exploration and Quest Completion

One of the best ways to earn Diamonds when playing is through progressing quests and exploring. As you do, you'll run into Warp Spires and Chests, which give you Diamonds the first time you unlock them. Warp Spires always give 20 diamonds, while chests give anywhere from 10 to 30, depending on their rarity.

Here is all you need to know about Style Challenges in Infinity Nikki, including how to win each competition and the rewards you can get.

Additionally, Infinity Nikki includes something called a "Mira Level." This functions similarly to your Adventure Rank in Genshin Impact in that it levels up as you explore the world and complete in-world challenges. When you do so, you'll get Mira EXP, which raises your level to unlock those rewards. Another way to get Mira EXP and Diamonds is by completing Main, Random, World, and Exclusive quests. It's not always guaranteed that these quests will award Diamonds, but many do.

In-Game Achievements

Alongside exploring Miraland, you can also complete various challenges across the game that will reward Diamonds. These tend to be a bit stingier, only giving Diamonds if you do a nearly perfect job, but as you get better at the game, they will become easier. These "challenge" Diamond sources include minigame challenges, Styling Faction challenges, and event rewards.

Events are different from Minigames and Styling Faction challenges in that they're not gameplay events. Instead, these events often ask you to share the game with friends or compete against other players to win rewards, like Nikki's Birthday Event on December 6th. These rewards aren't guaranteed and change often, so keep checking back every so frequently to see what's going on in-game.

Collection Rewards

The final and most ive way to earn free Diamonds in Infinity Nikki is by upgrading your Outfit Compendium by completing outfits. Each outfit is worth a few diamonds, and then you're rewarded with Diamonds on rank-up. While you're in your Pear-Pal, you can also check off Advanced Courses there as well.

These work similarly to your Compendium in that they are completed relatively ively. You'll be rewarded small amounts of Diamonds for things like collecting a certain type of clothing, catching bugs, collecting crafting materials, etc. Overall, this is the least efficient way to gather Diamonds in Infinity Nikki, but it's also the easiest.
