Jonathan Majors has been found guilty of harassment and assault. During the biggest year of his career, which included roles in Creed III and the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the Emmy-nominated actor was arrested on March 25 in New York City for alleged domestic violence involving his then-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. The woman was taken to the hospital with "minor injuries to her head and neck" and the actor was later charged with several counts of assault and aggravated harassment.

Now, a Manhattan jury has found Majors guilty of two misdemeanor counts of harassment and assault, though he was acquitted on one count of intentional assault in the third degree and aggravated harassment in the second degree. According to Variety, the actor did not react as the guilty verdict was read to the lower Manhattan courtroom. Majors faces up to one year in jail as he awaits his sentencing hearing set for February 6.

After his arrest, Majors was quickly dropped by his PR and management team. The actor has also been dropped from several projects, including the movie The Man in My Basement, as well as ad campaigns for the Texas Rangers and U.S. Army. Majors also stars in the movie Magazine Dreams, which received rave reviews at the Sundance Film Festival and was acquired by Searchlight Pictures for a theatrical release. However, following the assault allegations, the film was removed from the studio's release calendar, and it's unclear if it will ever be seen by the public.

Jonathan Majors was also dropped from an untitled Otis Redding biopic that he was attached to.

At the time of writing, Majors has not yet been fired from his role as the villainous Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After the actor's arrest, a report claimed that Marvel Studios was not considering firing Majors and was seemingly waiting for the outcome of this trial before making a decision. Now that Majors has been found guilty of harassment and assault, Marvel Studios should finally cut ties with him as well. Furthermore, with him facing up to one year in jail, Jonathan Majors probably won't be acting for the foreseeable future.
