After not being featured in several Jurassic World movies, several spinosaurus' will be included in trailer for Jurassic World Rebirth, the group will encounter a species that hasn't been seen since Jurassic Park III.
The dinosaurs in Jurassic World Rebirth is exciting since one hasn't appeared in the franchise since 2001's Jurassic Park III. While Jurassic Park III only featured one spinosaurus, the trailer for Jurassic World Rebirth confirms that at least three will appear in the film.
What Happened To The Spinosaurus After Jurassic Park 3
The Spinosaurus Survived In Jurassic Park 3
In Jurassic Park III, wealthy couple Paul and Amanda Kirby agree to fund Alan Grant's research if he flies them over Isla Sorna, the island where dinosaurs were cloned and raised before being transported to Jurassic Park. However, Paul and Amanda lie to Alan, and are actually a divorced couple who need his help to search for their son, Eric, and Amanda's boyfriend, Ben, on the island. Upon landing on Isla Sorna, they are immediately greeted by a menacing spinosaurus.

Jurassic World Rebirth Is Secretly Telling Us The Best Thing About The Franchise Will Return In The Scarlett Johansson Movie
The early-stage marketing for Gareth Edwards’ Jurassic World Rebirth is sneakily pointing to the return of one of the best features of the original.
The spinosaurus was basically the main antagonist of Jurassic Park III, and even managed to kill a Tyrannosaurus rex, which was previously the most menacing dinosaur in the franchise. The spinosaurus was still alive at the end of Jurassic Park III, which led many to wonder what happened to it. The animated series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous brought the same spinosaurus back and saw it terrorize more people. Camp Cretaceous also revealed that the spinosaurus' DNA was extracted and combined with the DNA of the Sinoceratops to create a new hybrid dinosaur.
Jurassic World Rebirth Is Giving Fans What They Wanted With The Spinosaurus
At Least Three Spinosaurus' WIll Appear In Jurassic World Rebirth
Even though the spinosaurus has been featured in video games and Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, fans have been wanting one to be included in a movie ever since Jurassic Park III. Unfortunately, the previous three Jurassic World movies did not include a spinosaurus. Thankfully, Jurassic World Rebirth is paying homage to Jurassic Park III and includes not one, but three spinosaurus'.
The spinosaurus' in Jurassic World Rebirth are not the exact same as the one that was previously seen in Jurassic Park III
Three spinosaurus' are what can be seen in the trailer for the film, but it's also possible that Jurassic World Rebirth will include more. However, the spinosaurus' in Jurassic World Rebirth are not the exact same as the one that was previously seen in Jurassic Park III, since they are capable of swimming very well and attack Zora's team while they are on a boat. Regardless, it will still be great to see this type of dinosaur return in Jurassic World Rebirth since it was such a menacing threat in the series' third film.
What The Spinosaurus Means For Jurassic World Rebirth
The Spinosaurus' Will Cause Problems For Jurassic World Rebirth's Characters
Jurassic Park III proved how much of a threat a spinosaurus could be, so Zora and her team will clearly be in a lot of trouble when they get attacked by three spinosaurus'. The spinosaurus managed to defeat the Tyrannosaurus rex in Jurassic Park III, meaning it's one of the most dangerous dinosaurs ever featured in the franchise. Therefore, several characters could potentially die in the spinosaurus boat attack that is teased in the Jurassic World Rebirth trailer.
The inclusion of spinosaurus' could also lead to some fan service moments in Jurassic World Rebirth. Since the spinosaurus defeating the Tyrannosaurus rex is such an iconic moment in the franchise, it's possible that Jurassic World Rebirth will include another fight between these two creatures. Additionally, since the spinosaurus from Jurassic Park III was never revealed to be dead, it's possible that it could also be included in Jurassic World Rebirth. Overall, the inclusion of spinosaurus' opens the door for many possible exciting moments in Jurassic World Rebirth.
