Kelly’s Love is Blind reunion update proves she didn’t deserve Kenny. The reunion episode was jam-packed with information about each couple and how their relationships were holding up.
Netflix decided to release a dating reality show of its own called Love is Blind. The premise of the show is for singles to try and find a significant other to fall in love with; the only catch is the singles must do this without ever laying eyes on one another. Viewers watch as the couples try and form an emotional connection without the interruption of physical attraction. Netflix veered from its usual layout and releasing each episode one by one instead of the first season at once. Now that the reunion has aired fans have tense emotions regarding some of the couples.
When Kelly and Kenny met in the pods, they had rewarding relationship without ever meeting the mystery woman. Before becoming a leading lady on the show, Kelly had taken to dating apps, since being the owner of her own business took up much of her time. The entrepreneur also itted she was more into looks than making an actual connection. Kelly’s laissez-faire attitude should have been a clue to viewers and Kenny that she may not be into the process as much as he was.
The reunion of Love is Blind showed some of the couples who made it and some who did not have a chance. Both Kelly and Kenny revealed to People that they never had any intention of getting married on the show. Both reported that they had numerous conversations in front of the cameras about their decision but the conversations never made it to the light of day for fans to see. During the tell-all, fans learned the couple had called it quits with Kenny announcing he was dating someone new. The news came as no revelation since Kelly had told her fiancé at the altar that she wasn’t ready to get married to him and pulled the plug, much to the surprise of Kenny and his mother. At the reunion, Kelly explained how she was still very much single and delivered an emotional monologue regarding how she was having to frequently friend zone fantastic guys.
Kelly’s emotional single girl’s cry did nothing to move the audience, as she was the cause behind the demise of what seemed like feel sorry for Kelly in any way.
