Friday The 13th's Jason Voorhees and many more. The decade also saw the arrival of Stephen King's epic tome IT, which details the decades' long struggle of a group of friends to stop an evil entity that commonly takes the form of Pennywise the Dancing Clown.

Tim Curry would memorably bring Pennywise to life in 1990's IT miniseries, but while clowns are supposed to be cuddly, fun-loving performers, many people can find them a tad creepy. Critters. It's an homage to 1950s b-movies and is now a beloved cult gem, and while it's not one of the decade's best horror efforts, it's definitely one of the most unique. Killer Klowns From Outer Space is a lot of fun, but the klowns themselves cause a LOT of damage throughout the story; in fact, according to YouTube channel Dead Meat, the onscreen tally is somewhere in the region of 40 casualties.

That kill count includes 36 human victims and four of the klowns themselves, but as the video points out, it's near impossible to get an exact Killer Klowns From Outer Space kill count. Throughout the movie, the klowns are seen cocooning victims in cotton candy shells, and towards the end, there's a storage room filled with hundreds of these cocoons. Only little snippets of their massacre through town are seen in the film, and the cocoon room proves they were responsible for way more than 36 deaths.

There's been talk of a Killer Klowns From Outer Space sequel or TV show for years now, but while the film remains a cult favorite, a follow-up has yet to arrive. If a sequel ever does happen, it will have a hard time topping the original film's kind of horrific kill count.
