Kirby & The Forgotten Land whisks Kirby far from Planet Popstar, and after making it through all of the overworld stages, Kirby can search for Soul Pieces in Forgo Plains. This post-game zone will have Kirby run through a gauntlet of the Natural Plains levels, but it can only be unlocked after Kirby defeats the game’s final boss. Once Kirby and Elfilin make it safely back to Waddle Dee Town, they’ll find this new challenge waiting for them at the top of the Observation Tower.
After climbing the Observation Tower, Kirby and Elfilin will find Clawroline staring at a new vortex that has appeared in Kirby & The Forgotten Land’s Waddle Dee Town. On the other side of this mysterious portal, Kirby will enter the Isolated Isles, a dream realm where the pieces of Leongar’s Soul have been trapped after the battle in Lab Discovera. To rescue him, Kirby must traverse more challenging dream versions of all five worlds from the overworld, starting with Forgo Plains.
Instead of rescuing Waddle Dees and collecting trophies, Kirby will have to find Leongar’s Soul Pieces in Kirby & The Forgotten Land’s Forgo Plains. While Kirby won’t have to track down every last Soul Piece to rescue Leongar, he’ll unlock a special figurine for finding them all. There are 50 Soul Pieces in Forgo Plains, and they’re split up between six dream versions of the levels from Kirby TFL’s Natural Plains.
Kirby & The Forgotten Land - All Forgo Plains Area 1 Soul Pieces
- There are 14 Soul Pieces in Area 1 of Kirby & The Forgotten Land’s Forgo Plains. The first is on the first circular platform on the main path.
- A bit further down the path, Kirby can hit the bomb box under the log bridge to open the metal crate with the second Soul Piece.
- The third Soul Piece is behind the tree at the end of the path where Kirby found the second Soul Piece.
- After hitting the three metal spikes in the stone tunnel, the fourth Soul Piece will appear at the end of the tunnel.
- The fifth Soul Piece is on top of the large triangular stack of crates near the Buffahorn.
- To find the next three Soul Pieces, Kirby will need to pick up five green crystals on the main path. The first crystal is on the small mound guarded by three enemies. The second is inside the Knock-Knock Nut on the small circular platform. The third is on the large platform surrounded by spinning enemies. The fourth is in the crate to the left of the stairs at the end of the path. The fifth crystal is hidden behind the bench with the sleeping Noddy, which Kirby can inhale to recover some health with the Sleep Copy Ability. After collecting all five, the Soul Pieces will appear on the next platform.
- There’s a shadow enemy shooting at Kirby from behind a construction sign a bit further down the path. Defeating it will reveal the ninth Soul Piece.
- Under the small metal bridge, there’s a blue button that Kirby can hit to reveal the tenth Soul Piece.
- The eleventh Soul Piece is in the orange box in the broken section of the next metal bridge.
- Kirby can grab the next three Soul Pieces at the end of the area before moving onto the next.
Kirby & The Forgotten Land - All Forgo Plains Area 2 Soul Pieces
- The first Soul Piece in Area 2 of Kirby & The Forgotten Land’s Forgo Plains is at the top of the first moving platform.
- The second Soul Piece is at the top of the second moving platform.
- At the top of the nearby ladder, there’s a Vending Machine that Kirby can use to enter Mouthful Mode. The third Soul Piece is behind the stack of metal crates.
- Kirby will find the fourth Soul Piece in a metal crate behind the construction sign to the right of the main path past the porcupine enemy.
- There’s a blue button in the lower right corner of the platform with the spinning Kabu enemies. Kirby can hit it to reveal a set of stairs that will allow him to get to the top of the center pillar in Vending Machine Mouthful Mode. From there, Kirby can shoot the metal crates to reveal the next three Soul Pieces.
Kirby & The Forgotten Land - All Forgo Plains Area 3 Soul Pieces
- In Area 3 of Kirby & The Forgotten Land’s Forgo Plains, Kirby will have to hit the bomb box surrounded by poison to get the first Soul Piece to fall from the cliff.
- Kirby can inhale one of the bomb-throwing Poppy Bros. to get the Bomb Copy Ability, which he’ll need to hit the bomb box behind the spiky bar at the end of the path. The box will blow up the metal crates nearby, revealing the second Soul Piece.
- On the uphill section with the rolling boulders, Kirby will have to touch the sparkly spot behind the Pop Flower to the left of the path to reveal the third Soul Piece up ahead.
- Kirby will have to act fast and throw bombs at all three red buttons under the metal bridge to blow up the crates blocking the fourth Soul Piece.
- At the end of the downhill section with the boulder chase, Kirby will have to hit the two red buttons before the boulder crushes them to reveal the next three Soul Pieces.
- Kirby can grab the last Soul Piece under the upper right corner of the hole left by the boulder.
Kirby & The Forgotten Land - All Forgo Plains Area 4 Soul Pieces
- In Area 4 of Kirby & The Forgotten Land’s Forgo Plains, there’s a bomb box past the spinning spaceship ride between the moving walkways. Once Kirby hits it, he can ride the walkway back to find the first Soul Piece.
- The second Soul Piece is on the platform with the double-decker spaceship ride.
- The third Soul Piece is behind the center pillar of the faster spaceship ride up ahead.
- Kirby can hit the next bomb box on the path to blow up the metal crates on the conveyor belt, which will cause the fourth Soul Piece to drop. However, the conveyor belt will carry it over the edge if Kirby isn’t fast enough.
- The fifth Soul Piece is just over the ledge past the next conveyor belt. Kirby will have to float to catch himself before he falls.
- Kirby can get the sixth Soul Piece by defeating the shadow monkey enemy with the Hammer Copy Ability.
- To get the next three Soul Pieces, Kirby will have to collect the five green crystals around the looping conveyor belts. The first four are on the conveyor belts, and the fifth is at the top of the ladder behind the crates in the upper left corner. Once all five have been picked up, the metal crates in the wall will blow up and reveal the last three Soul Pieces in the area.
Kirby & The Forgotten Land - All Forgo Plains Area 5 Soul Pieces
- After Kirby enters Traffic Cone Mouthful Mode in Area 5 of Kirby & The Forgotten Land’s Forgo Plains, he’ll be able to crush the metal crates on the square breakable path to the right of the Rabiroos.
- On the platform with the shadowy bomb-throwing enemy, there are two breakable platforms that Kirby can break to drop to a secret age that leads to a water pipe. Using Traffic Cone Mouthful Mode to break the pipe, Kirby can reach the enemy and defeat it to get the second Soul Piece.
- The third Soul Piece is hovering in front of the sign beneath the square of metal crates surrounded by Kabus. Kirby will have to hover to catch himself without falling.
- The fourth Soul Piece is in the small metal crate on the far side of the breakable square path nearby.
- The last three Soul Pieces are in the small metal crate at the bottom of the breakable stair path.
To get the last five Soul Pieces in the Forgo Plains level of Kirby & The Forgotten Land, Kirby will have to defeat Phantom Gorimondo in the final area. Once the stage has been cleared, the Forgo Bay level will be unlocked, so Kirby can continue his search for Soul Pieces in the dream version of Everybay Coast. Kirby won’t need to get all 50 Soul Pieces to reach the next level, but he will need at least 250 total Soul Pieces to rescue Leon at the end of the Isolated Isles.
