Jobs in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth are classes for party , but asg the best ones to characters like Kazama Kiryu can be tricky. Each profession includes unique abilities and skills you earn as you reach higher ranks in the game with all your allies. Kiryu can choose jobs that synergize with his natural ability to brawl against enemies up close and take control of the battlefield.
There are 27 total jobs you can choose from near the end of Chapter 5 of the game's story. The Alo-Happy Tourism Center allows you to pay a small fee to switch a character's job, but only if that person has the right stats to fit the position. Every job in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth has personality requirements an individual must meet before they can take on a new role.
Once you spend a job fee to unlock a new class, you don't have to spend that money again to assign it to anyone else. For example, if you pay to unlock Action Star for Ichiban, you don't need to pay that fee again to assign that role to Kiryu.

When Do Jobs Unlock In Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth?
There are plenty of jobs to use when building a party in Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth. It does, however, take a while to unlock them.
Dragon of Dojima
Surprisingly, the best job for Kazama Kiryu is the Dragon of Dojima, or his starting class at the beginning of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Each character has a role they start with, but many have basic skills that become outdone by other classes later. The biggest example of this is how Ichiban's exclusive Freelancer job at the start gets overshadowed by the Hero role fairly quickly.
The Dragon of Dojima class lets Kiryu switch between offensive stances, which gives him perfect versatility in nearly any situation. Kiryu excels at being the offensive powerhouse of your team, dealing with enemies directly or using powerful crowd-control attacks. The only weakness of Dragon of Dojima is how straightforward the archetype can be in its approach to Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth's combat.
All of your skills in this job are focused on damage and crowd control, especially with the Essence of the Dragon God ability you unlock when Kiryu reaches Level 30. This Blunt attack has extreme power that deals fire damage to all enemies on the battlefield at once. This spell costs 90 MP to cast, but it remains perhaps the best ability to deal with multiple opponents during a fight.
The only weakness of the Dragon of Dojima job could come from bosses in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth who take out Kiryu's allies quickly. This class does not specialize in healing or debuffs, so a particularly challenging foe could prove to be an obstacle. Taking on a couple of other roles for Kiryu could let you spend some XP on skills needed to overcome this type of hurdle.
Chef
Also known as the Tactical Gourmet, the Chef job gives Kiryu some extra abilities tied to applying status conditions to both allies and enemies. Many different magic attacks can be learned from this class, but nearly all of them revolve around Fire. While this may be a deal-breaker for other MP-focused characters, Kiryu thrives by taking this less complicated path in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
The Sashimi Slice and Wound Opener bleed debuff combo that exists exclusively for the Chef job could cause Kiryu to greatly weaken his enemies. Sashimi Slice adds the bleed condition to a foe, and builds it up if used again. Wound Opener then removes the affliction in exchange for a huge decrease in one of your opponent's stats, giving your party an opportunity to strike.
Chef abilities can come in clutch against a boss, especially if you use the Sashimi Slice and Wound Opener combo to decrease a target's defenses to almost nothing.
The limited defenses of this job are balanced by some strong physical attacks Kiryu can learn in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. As seen in the Dragon of Dojima role, Kiryu works best in your party when he is one of the primary damage dealers of your group.

Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth Review - "A Tremendously High Bar"
Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth takes many of the best elements of the franchise's past, expands on them, and adds more into sheer brilliance.
Samurai
The Samurai job builds a character into an offensive and defensive powerhouse and therefore could be an excellent role for Kiryu. With an Attack 5 and Defense 4 stat distribution, you gain many different abilities tied to bleed damage similar to the Chef in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Other skills like Shadow Cleave or Shadow Dance will deal an incredible amount of damage if Kiryu uses them on bleeding enemies.
Samurai typically have a low Speed stat, so make sure you have someone fast in your party to this weakness if you decide to take on this job for Kiryu.
Samurai have an affinity with slashing weapons like Katanas in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. However, they can also wield Guns or other ranged weapons quite effectively, expanding Kiryu's arsenal from just his fists. This level of adaptation helps as you reach later stages of the game and come across enemies who need to be dealt with in different ways.
Combos with various moves define the Samurai, and give Kiryu more of a plan than the Chef or Dragon of Dojima roles. Creating new weaknesses like bleeding on your foes doesn't just benefit Kiryu, but everyone on your team. Anyone who likes to take a tactical approach to harder fights in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth should consider putting some XP into this job for Kiryu as they continue to level up.
Action Star
The Action Star job is suited for those who want to turn Kiryu into a tank within their party in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. A full 5 Health stat pairs with 4 Attack to once again give Kiryu strong offense, but this time with a large pool of HP to survive in fights longer. This role doesn't use magic often since it relies more on speed and raw power from flashy attacking moves.
The Relentless Dragon Dance ability stands out by potentially giving Kiryu double damage on their next physical attack. Combined with some of the skills from Dragon of Dojima, this can lead to huge strikes against opponents with large health bars. Learning Essence of Improvisation lets Kiryu heal based on the amount of damage dealt during the previous turn, which adds even more survivability to the character.
Attacks from the Action Star also push enemies back into each other, which could be a helpful way to set up Area of Effect (AoE) moves. Kazama Kiryu's best jobs are the ones that let him be the strong fighter he has always been, but also allow him to his newfound party in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
