On that installment, she was about to be released from prison, and Chazz was waiting for her. Chazz had been married four times, but hoped that his new love would be his forever match. Later, Chazz filed for an annulment from his fifth wife. After that, he expressed that due to them living in different states, it was difficult to serve her with the divorce papers.
It seems like Branwin was always going back to her ex-boyfriend, whom she resumed talking to while she was still married to Chazz. In the last episodes, Chazz looked defeated, scruffy, and broken. While Branwin did say that she wanted to turn her life around, and chose Chazz because he was different from her exes, it seems he just didn't make the cut in the end. She appeared to be thriving after their divorce, so it was shocking to discover that Branwin is back behind bars.
While Branwin's return to prison wasn't expected, others believe that she chose that outcome. When she was with Chazz, she had a golden ticket out of the state, away from the people that put her in jail in the first place. During their relationship and after, the Love After Lockup star went back to her old ways, leading to yet another prison term.
