According to ITV, 24-year-old Las Vegas pool cabana server Toni is the first Love Island UK season 12 bombshell. While Love Island UK is a British reality show, Toni is actually from Connecticut in the United States. During her announcement, she itted that it's a "mess" trying to date in America. "I live in cities that are fast-paced and party places...People are here for a good time, not a long time," she explained.

Toni is open to relocating; the only downside is it would "break my heart" to leave her job. She's ing Love Island UK because "it's time to try something new." She finds British people to be "charming" and more polite, and claims they have better manners.

Toni also opened up about the health issues she's experienced over the years. She has ulcerative colitis and was in the hospital the same week as her senior prom. She said, "They told me, 'You can't go,' and then they said, 'Surprise, you're going to prom!'" This story ended up on the news in the U.S. "Not all illnesses are visible," Toni added. "It doesn't have to hold you back. You can travel, etc...I live my life day-to-day like anyone else."

When asked to explain what kind of Islander she'll be on Love Island UK, Toni itted she doesn't want to be "super messy," but she is a "party starter." She also wants to form some friendships along the way. As far as a relationship is concerned, she's looking for a man with dark hair who's "muscular but not too muscular" and fit. Toni also wants to find someone who is active and can make her laugh. Also, she's very open to starting a family someday.

Since Love Island UK season 12 hasn't even premiered yet, it's way too early to know what kind of relationships and friendships Toni might form during the season. However, the information she told ITV does give some good insight into what kind of contestant she'll be. Toni is outgoing and a "party starter," so she'll definitely fit right in on Love Island. It'll be interesting to see if she can tamp down the drama or if she's the one to initiate it.

Opening up about her health issues could get fans on her side if she's able to come across as a relatable person on Love Island UK. Also, while she's a partier and loves a good time, she's also interested in settling down with someone and possibly starting a family in the future.
