Margot Robbie might be one of the most sought-after names in Hollywood, but her involvement in titles like Robbie's breakout role, of course, came in Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street.

While it's no surprise that Robbie is a force in front of the camera, some might not even be aware that she has a production company with her husband, Tom Ackerley. LuckyChap Entertainment was founded in 2014 and produced its first movie three years later with the release of I, Tonya, which notably starred Robbie. Though LuckyChap Entertainment has produced some of Margot Robbie's best movies, she's not among the cast for all of the company's projects.

My Old Ass Continues Margot Robbie's Impressive Producer Streak

The Actress Has Produced A Few Notable Titles Already

Margot Robbie's lone 2024 project through LuckyChap Entertainment was My Old Ass, a coming-of-age comedy from Megan Park. My Old Ass' cast starred an 18-year-old Elliot (Maisy Stella) encountering the older version of herself, played by Aubrey Plaza. The comedy-drama was an interesting take on growing up, accepting adulthood, and experiencing various forms of grief. Considering My Old Ass' 90% score on Rotten Tomatoes, the movie extends Robbie's producer streak.

Expanding her career through a production company was not a money-making endeavor, which could understandably be the case for others in the industry. Instead, Robbie is heavily involved with developing movies and shows linked to LuckyChap Entertainment. Of course, many of the produced projects feature her in the cast, but like the case with My Old Ass, Robbie has been known to be on set and active in all facets of the development process, from the pre-production stage to red carpet premieres.

As for Margot Robbie movies involving acting roles, she's attached to star in two projects: A Big Bold Beautiful Journey and Wuthering Heights. That said, Robbie and her production company will be quite busy, considering how many movies they have in development. At the time of writing, LuckyChap Entertainment is attached to 11 movies, including Monopoly, Naught, and The Sims. On the TV side, the company is linked to two shows, but that number will likely increase based on LuckyChap's first-look deal with Amazon.

Margot Robbie has also been linked to a Pirates of the Caribbean spinoff for the past few years.

While there were reports of Barbie 2 being in development, director Greta Gerwig has denied the report. Still, based on Barbie's box office success, it would make sense for Warner Bros. to heavily consider a sequel. Whether or not that happens, many are hoping that Robbie will re-team with Gerwig for the filmmaker's Chronicles of Narnia project for Netflix. My Old Ass may have been Margot Robbie's lone release on her 2024 filmography, but there's plenty to come from the multi-talented star.
