regains his superhero mantle alongside his daughter, Ellie, their first official job as a duo of Deadpools will be to eliminate Spider-Man in the crossover titled Pools of Blood. The four-part crossover begins in February 2025 with Deadpool #11 – written by Cody Ziglar with art by Andrea Di Vito.

Ellie has officially begun her time as Marvel's newest Deadpool, and a suit gifted to her by Wade has given her powers not even her father has.
With writer Cody Ziglar spearheading this crossover between Deadpool and Miles Morales: Spider-Man, both series have been building to these tie-ins and could be greatly impacted in the aftermath of these characters clashing. Miles and Ellie already had their first fight in the back-up story for Miles Morales: Spider-Man #25, and the two legacy heroes immediately established a rapport that will come into play in the Pools of Blood. As Wade Wilson returns to action after his recent “death”, he’ll have to figure out how to take out a new Spider-Man and effectively work and communicate with his daughter.

Since Marvel is already teasing that their task to eliminate Spider-Man will put Wade and Ellie at odds, the Pools of Blood crossover event could be what finally separates the two Deadpools after they’ve been making great strides in their relationship. Though Wade wasn’t in Ellie’s life much when growing up, he really stepped up for her as she decided to follow in her father's footsteps and became her own version of Deadpool. As Ellie’s Deadpool makes friends with Miles’ Spider-Man when her father is hired to take him out, their disagreement could force Ellie to pick a side.
With superhero action and a substantial number of quips bound to be heavily featured in the four-part event, the crossover is also an important next chapter for all major characters involved.
Continuing the Spider-Man and Deadpool dynamic with Miles Morales was bound to happen, given the legacy character’s popularity, and now he gets double the Deadpool to bounce off of, with Wade's daughter also in the fight. With superhero action and a substantial number of quips bound to be heavily featured in the four-part event, the crossover is also an important next chapter for all major characters involved. As Miles Morales finally gets his own storyline going up against Deadpool, his version of Spider-Man levels up even more as an important and defining figure in the current Marvel Universe.
