Marvel Rivals always adds new costume skins for characters with every seasonal update, with Season 2.5 featuring one of the largest collections of cosmetics yet. With the inclusion of the new Strategist character Ultron, several costumes are being offered that relate to the theme of the deadly robot taking over. Some costumes are locked to purchases from the Store, but others can be earned from other sources for free.
Although not technically added through the Season 2.5 update, some costumes have been added in preparation for the midway point of the Season. For example, the May 22 patch in Marvel Rivals added two new skins that are prominently featured in Season 2.5. That being said, with the end of some limited-time events from earlier in Season 2, some other cosmetics have disappeared for the time being.

Complete Several Events Introduced In The Update
While many character skins are bought from the in-game Store, several introduced in Season 2.5 can be collected for free from different events. Completing all the missions or challenges for a Season 2.5 event can reward you with a free costume, encouraging you to play matches with specific goals in mind.
You can always check to see what events are offering a skin by going to the "Events" tab under the "Season" menu from when you start the game. Certain event markers on the "Home" screen may also give you clues for available free skins.
Season 2.5 launches with two sources for free skins - the Cerebro Database II event and the Combat Chest collection. Cerebro Database II is an event where you analyze four different character pages by completing missions to get a free skin. Meanwhile, the Combat Chest is a collection of various cosmetics that act like a mini-Battle , giving you some free rewards with others locked behind a version.

Spend In-Game Currency To Unlock Cosmetics Outside The Battle
Some costumes for Season 2.5 are ones added to the Store being sold for Lattice or Units in Marvel Rivals. Like many other skins in the past, you can purchase these through a combination of the yellow and blue in-game currencies. While many of these skins do cost real-world money, the inclusion of Ultron with this update gives you plenty of cosmetics you may want to collect regardless.
The Season 2 Battle has several sections where you can spend Chrono Tokens in exchange for Units and Lattice currency. If you complete different missions, you can build enough pink currency to get other money needed for buying a skin without spending your own cash.
The table below outlines all the new costumes in Season 2.5, including how much they cost and what character they are used with:

All of these featured costumes from the Store, except for the Mechanical Phantom alternate color for Ultron, are included as skin Bundles. These Bundles come with custom Nameplates, MVP animations, Emotes, and Sprays you get when you spend the required Units on them. For the skins in the Combat Chest in Marvel Rivals, you can earn these additional cosmetics from reaching different Level tiers.
Some of these skin Bundles come in offered sale sets, such as a package for the Yggroot and X-Tron costumes as an example. Instead of paying 3,800 Units for both skins individually, you can only spend 2,800 Units on both looks if you desire them both. A similar deal exists for both Immortal costumes in Marvel Rivals, so take advantage of every skin deal while it lasts in Season 2.5.
