NetEase has revealed the most chaotic-looking Marvel Rivals game mode yet, as Clone Rumble brings nothing but mayhem to the battlefield. Marvel Rivals continues to take the world by storm with its engaging and hectic gameplay, and now, a new mode is set to shake things up even more.
From the quick trailer posted on the official Marvel Rivals YouTube channel, we get a glimpse of nothing but Captain America's deflecting Iron Man's ultimate ability endlessly with his shield. This new mode appears to allow players to all choose one hero to play throughout the match, meaning we could see six Loki's putting down clones to overpower entire points and Groot walls galore. The new mode goes live on March 7, and players can earn a free Black Widow skin along the way.
Marvel Rivals Clone Rumble Game Mode Looks Extremely Fun
Imagine Nothing But Namor's Monstro Spawns Endlessly Shooting Enemies
The trailer may be short, but it gives us a good idea of the carnage that is about to ensue in Marvel Rivals. Each team will be able to select one hero each, and each player must then choose between the two heroes to decide which one makes it to the battlefield. Every player must play the hero selected, meaning there could be 12 of the same hero battling it out to victory, or teams of six of the same hero duking it out with the other team.
In the short video, we can see 12 Mr. Fantastic's rampaging around the map, bouncing around everywhere. We also get a look at Groot becoming a powerhouse of walls, Namor Mosntro Spawns spamming bullets, and Punisher's turning Marvel Rivals into what looks like a scary Call of Duty lobby. NetEase also knew what they were doing with this trailer, including some of the funniest memes created by players to date, like Mr. Fantastic's "penguin" walk. Players also noted that "We Are GROOT" finally makes sense.

NetEase Has Revealed "More Crossover" Events Are Coming To Marvel Rivals, Alongside Other Major Announcements
NetEase has revealed that more crossover events will be coming to Marvel Rivals alongside the announcement of eSports teams possibly coming soon.
Fans are already discussing this new mode in a recent Reddit post from Bisentinel, sharing how different matchups might end up going. FOMOforRomo comments, "12 strange portals." Luckily, commenter Havik-Programmer92 claims that portals might be on a global cooldown shared by teammates, meaning that there would only be two portals in play at a time.
Our Take: This New Marvel Rivals Game Mode Might Be Its Best Yet
Your Powers Are....Ours?
The one thing that intrigues me the most is that if everyone picks Loki, there is no ultimate ability to copy. On the other hand, there could be 36 Loki clones scattered around the battlefield, each having their own ring of invulnerability to utilize, which would curate nothing but chaos. The matches could end up lasting for quite a while, and from the trailer, it looks like too much fun to care.
Everyone picking Peni Parker would mean 12 spider nests could blanket entire maps, which adds even more hectic gameplay potential. While the details are quite slim about what we can fully expect at the time of writing, there is not much time to wait. The new mode will be live on March 7 for all platforms, and honestly, I cannot wait to dive in and enjoy all that Marvel Rivals Clone Rumble has to offer.
