Warning: Contains potential spoilers for All-New Venom #5!

Marvel has officially announced that its latest Venom host will reveal their true identity in April 2025, as the mystery that’s been building since last year is finally coming to its grand finale. All-New Venom #5 – written by Al Ewing, with art by Carlos Gómez – is only about a month away, and the issue will reveal what’s been going on with Venom and its unknown host once and for all. Main cover art teases the human breaking free from underneath the symbiote’s new black-and-gold exterior.

There have been many mixed emotions around Venom’s array of suspects becoming its next host moving forward, and as the symbiote’s secret is finally revealed, the reality of a new human host taking up the mantle of Marvel’s current Venom is officially about to settle in. Before the first issue was even released, All-New Venom teased four exciting main suspects: Luke Cage, Madame Masque, Rick Jones, and Robbie Robertson. Over the course of the first few issues, both Cage and Masque have been taken out of the running - which has narrowed the official suspect list down to the latter two.

The series has managed to keep readers guessing and second-guessing, but its success will all come down to how the mystery concludes, and if the new host can officially earn superhero status as the new Venom.
