Shows like motorcycle drama Mayans M.C. take viewers on a wild ride where the main protagonists are criminals but often have a good reason for their standing in life. Mayans M.C. is the sequel to the popular FX series Sons of Anarchy. It starts up a couple of years after Jax died and centers on the titular motorcycle club, who are enemies turned allies of SAMCRO. They live in the fictional California border town Santo Padre, and the main character is Ezekiel Reyes (aka EZ), a Mayan who takes over as the leader and seeks revenge for the death of his family when he was young.

Mayans M.C. ran for five seasons before FX announced it was coming to an end in 2023, and many fans will be looking for something to watch to fill the gap left by the show's departure. This is a show about a man who is noble and has a sense of self-worth, but someone whose life has never been his own and who rides his bike every day looking to hurt the people who took what he loves away from him. At the same time, Mayans M.C. is about a club that remains fiercely loyal to each other but is always looking over their shoulders, knowing an enemy could come from anywhere — even from within.

Mayans M.C. is a crime drama that focuses on the drug trade, as did its parent series Sons of Anarchy. For a similar show that is all about the drug trade, look no further than the Netflix true-life series Narcos. This tells the story of the rise of Pablo Escobar in the 1970s and 1980s when he became the wealthiest and most successful drug kingpin in the world. While Mayans M.C. in no way features successful or wealthy criminals, the two shows still share a lot in common, as both are about the risks these men take to build their underworld empires.

For fans of Mayans M.C., the first season dealt with the police and organized crime syndicates, while the second went more into the lives of the blue-collar workers, but all five seasons are worth watching.

Raylan was a man who fought for the side of good, and he did it by any means necessary. However, for fans of shows like Mayans M.C., Justified also introduced one of the most complex and brilliantly executed villains on TV in Walton Goggins' Boyd Crowder. Boydled the crime syndicate in the small town of Harlan while also having a complicated past with Raylan.
