Warning: This article contains spoilers for Mayfair Witches season 2 onward and Interview with the Vampire season 3 onward.Mayfair Witches cast as Ciprien Grieve, a member of the secretive order known as Talamasca. Set in the same universe as Rice’s Vampire Chronicles, the Talamasca, whose mission is to study and cover up the existence of supernatural phenomena, also made a brief appearance in Interview With The Vampire season 2.
Speaking with Screen Rant ahead of the January 12 premiere of Mayfair Witches season 2, Chirisa was asked whether there was a particular character from Interview With The Vampire he would like to see crossover with his show. Explaining that it would not be unusual for his character to encounter other supernatural beings due to his work with the Talamasca, he reveals that season 2 will see his character begin to access some of the order’s deeper secrets. He said:
I think for Sip, it's not uncommon to encounter the supernatural. I think with what's happening in season 2, Sip was a certain level of Talamasca agent until certain things start to happen that will finally give him access to some of the deeper secrets of the Talamasca. As we see in season 2, there are certain advances that he's now allocated, which are fantastic.
Elaborating further, Chirisa also reveals that certain events from Interview With The Vampire will be directly referenced in Mayfair Witches season 2, and the season finale will open up his world “in a way that he was not expecting.” Suggesting that while he does not know for certain, one of Ciprien’s next missions may involve dealing with the vampires. Check out his comments below:
Without saying too much, a lot of things go down in the season finale that definitely open Sip's world up in a way that he was not expecting. Certain events [from Interview with the Vampire] are mentioned in Mayfair Witches, one of which could be the next mission that Sip needs to go investigate. He may have to pop in and settle some issues with the vampires — I'm just saying. I don't know, but it seems like we're heading that way.
What Chirisa’s Comments Mean For A Potential Crossover With The Vampires
The Shows May Lead To A Potential Romance
Fans of Anne Rice's books are already well aware of how the storylines of both her series eventually intertwine, leading to a major crossover between the main characters of both. While the presence of the Talamasca in both shows has already been well-established, setting the stage for the third show in AMC’s growing Immortal Universe franchise, Rice’s later books eventually even see Alexandra Daddario’s Rowan and Sam Reid’s Lestat embark on an unexpected romance.

Immortal Universe Explained: Interview With The Vampire, Mayfair Witches & Talamasca TV Shows
With two shows currently airing in AMC's Immortal Universe and a third in development, here's how they connect and can potentially cross over.
However, if AMC sticks closely to Rice’s books moving forward, they will still have a vast amount of narrative ground to cover before Rowan even begins to seek out Lestat. However, with Interview With The Vampire season 2 revealing the publication of Daniel’s tell-all book, and season 3 poised to see Lestat step into the public spotlight as a rock singer, it is easy to see what events Chirisa may be referencing.
Our Take On Introducing Vampires Into Mayfair Witches Season 2
It's Still Too Early To Have Rowan & Lestat Meet
As exciting a prospect as having Reid’s Lestat or Jacob Anderson’s Louis show up in the latest season of the Mayfair Witches, such a move would be decidedly premature. Not only does Rowan Mayfair have to deal with the reborn Lasher first, but the characters from AMC’s sister show also have many of their own major plot points to contend with before a direct crossover could reasonably occur.
AMC already seems to be planting the seeds for the time that the Mayfairs and the vampires will meet, and the Talamasca will likely be central to those plans. Whether the shows will still pursue an eventual Rowan and Lestat romance remains to be seen, but there are still plenty of other exciting prospects to see the characters from both The Mayfair Witches and Interview With The Vampire cross paths in later seasons.
