While not every MCU movie has managed to provide gripping villains that are on the same level as the incredible heroes, throughout the movies so far there have been some great characters. The villains of the MCU have proven to be characters that people love to hate when they're done well and with a variety of abilities and powers, they really do provide some amazing action.
Some of the greatest villains in MCU history have proven to be incredible competition for the Marvel heroes, but what if they were made to fight against each other? Throwing the villains into the annual Hunger Games would certainly provide a very interesting fight, and with only one being able to walk away as the victor, there would be some tough competition between the evilest MCU characters.
Red Skull
Red Skull is one of the most iconic villains from the MCU so far, but when it comes to his natural powers and abilities, he just doesn't quite stand up as well as some of the others. There's no doubt that he's powerful, and in hand-to-hand combat, he would likely be able to hold his own.
However, unless Red Skull was able to get his hands on a gun or another form of weapon, it is unlikely that he would be able to survive for a long time within the Games. Red Skull isn't exactly someone who can just blend in, and that would ultimately lead to him being taken out.
Yellow Jacket
The nemesis for Ant-Man in his original movie was Yellow-Jacket and he would certainly be an interesting prospect within the Hunger Games. He's one of the more intelligent MCU villains, and that would stand him in good stead, purely because he could think logically about different situations that could arise.
Yellow-Jacket is an impressive fighter and he has great strength, but there are many Marvel villains who have an advantage against him in this regard. However, with his ability to change his shape, there's a good chance that Yellow-Jacket could avoid a lot of conflict, which would serve him well.
Abomination
An often forgotten MCU villain, when it comes to pure power and carnage, Abomination really does top the bill. This character was able to go toe to toe with the Incredible Hulk, and the devastation that he can cause would easily make him a favorite in the Games.
However, while he could easily kill a few of the tributes and would certainly make life difficult for anyone who gets in his way, Abomination lacks stealth. The Hunger Games isn't just about being a brutal killer, sometimes the ability to hide and be quiet is needed, and Abomination lacks the intelligence to pull that off, which is why he wouldn't survive.
Killmonger
Killmonger is certainly one of the best villains that the MCU has ever had, and his emotional backstory certainly makes the character a gripping one. He proves himself to be a very skilled fighter, even managing to defeat Black Panther at on stage, which showcases his ability in one on one combat and a fight to the death situation.
Because of that, Killmonger would likely impress within the Hunger Games, purely because he is such a ruthless character. He's strong and agile, and those are traits that work well within the Games. However, there are other characters who have abilities that Killmonger simply couldn't deal with, and that would lead to his demise before the end.
Ronan The Acc
Ronan might not be the most memorable MCU villain, but he certainly is an incredibly impressive one when it comes to his fighting abilities. Ronan is very strong, which he proves during his MCU appearances, and while he might not be the most intelligent, he has a violent streak that would no doubt cause damage to others.
Ronan would certainly pose a threat within the Hunger Games as he truly fears nobody, which he shows by the fact that he is willing to cross Thanos. However, Ronan would likely fall short of the mark in becoming the winner in this situation.
Vulture
One of Spider-Man's greatest ever villains was Vulture, who was one of the most relatable villains too, as he was simply a family man. However, Vulture was very smart and knew how to make the most of a situation, happily being able to tinker with different bits and pieces to turn them into incredible weapons.
Inside the Hunger Games, that would give Vulture a massive advantage. Being able to craft weapons out of the limited resources could help him survive, with his sheer grit and determination likely to see him through, would give him a great shot at winning.
Ultron
Because of how Ultron was created, he is easily one of the smartest characters to have ever appeared in the MCU. This is something that would serve Ultron very kindly within the Hunger Games itself, as those who are clever typically do very well within them.
An ability to adapt to the surroundings and try to overcome different situations would make Ultron a real threat within them. Plus, because he is incredibly strong and has plenty of abilities from blasters to his flying ability, he would easily be a top threat.
Hela
When it comes to power, fighting skill, and abilities, there are few characters within the entire MCU that are more dominant than Hela. She was a major threat to Thor and someone who would be dominant in the Hunger Games, purely because of her mean streak and fighting abilities.
She can create different weapons at the drop of a hat, and that would allow her to adapt to any situation she was surrounded in. However, while Hela would certainly be a big threat to win, there are a couple of MCU villains who are slightly more intelligent that would likely be able to cause difficulties for her.
Loki
Loki will go down as the most popular Marvel villain of all time in the MCU, proving to be such a hit that he was then turned into a hero. He's an incredibly tricky villain, who has a wide range of powers that would serve him well within the Hunger Games.
He's a smooth talker and would likely be able to create some forms of alliances to help him before eventually backstabbing them to continue on his own. He's a strong character who is also very agile, and his ability to shapeshift would also allow him to do well within this situation.
Thanos
Everything within the MCU was building up to Thanos and his appearances for a reason, because he is the most powerful villain that has appeared so far. With a real calmness and a purpose about everything he does, Thanos is ruthless and is very effective.
It's hard to see how any other MCU villain would be able to even come close to stopping Thanos, especially if he has the Infinity Gauntlet. The power that he possesses with those stones is simply unmatched and considering the wide abilities that they provide to him, Thanos would likely dominate inside the games.
