It's safe to say that Bucky wasn't exactly a model citizen during his time as the Winter Soldier. Although fans have come to realize that he wasn't directly responsible for the 70 years of assassinations he committed, there were still some moments where Bucky did willingly cross boundaries for personal reasons.

That being said, fans will agree that Bucky has tried his best since to redeem himself - whether it be helping Sam take down the Flag Smashers or Thanos. For every bad moment the Avenger has, there is also a good one fans could counter it with. Take these as examples...

LOVED: When He Brought A Date For Steve

Bucky and Steve with their dates

Way back when fans first met Bucky Barnes in Captain America: The First AvengerBucky and Steve attend Howard Stark's presentation with two dates. Steve mentions slightly later in the movie that he finds asking girls out terrifying so he is waiting for the right partner.

Probably knowing this, as any good best friend would do, Bucky takes the hardest part for Steve out of the equation and brings him a date.

HATED: When He Shot Nick Fury

Bucky catches Steve’s sheild

Bucky may not have been responsible for killing King T'Chaka in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

To be fair on Bucky he was being mind-controlled, and yes, Nick Fury survived but hindsight is a wonderful thing. Shooting Nick Fury is certainly a way to lose some 'good guy' points in any MCU fans' eyes.

LOVED: "I'm With You Till The End Of The Line Pal"

Bucky and Steve

The iconic phrase that embodies Steve and Bucky's friendship was spoken in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, in a flashback scene between Bucky and Steve just after Steve's mother's funeral.

Even though Steve said he could get by on his own, Bucky wouldn't let him as he knows that Steve needs someone to be there for him, whether he its it or not. Best friends since childhood, the two will always be there for each other.

HATED: Not Apologising For Killing Tony's Parents

Bucky kills Howard in Captain America Civil War

As was revealed by Zola in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Bucky was the one to kill Tony's parents. However, it wasn't until Captain America: Civil War that fans saw the footage of him committing the act.

Although the incident took place when Bucky had been controlled by The Winter Soldier Program, there are some fans who believe that Bucky should have at least offered Tony an apology of sorts. He also could have tried to talk Tony down during the fight. Instead, he ran and made the tension between he and Tony worse.

LOVED: "I'm Not Gonna Kill Anyone"

Bucky Barnes in Civil War

In Captain America: Civil War, when Bucky encounters Steve in his apartment, a battle ensues between the military forces, with Cap and Bucky seen trying to escape. With Bucky defending himself in such a violent way, Steve correctly assumes that Bucky is going to kill someone.

Just as Bucky punches into the floor he utters the words "I'm not gonna kill anyone." This signifies to fans that Bucky was a changed man, who didn't want people to keep associating him with his past.

HATED: Almost Killing Steve

Bucky punching Steve on the helicarrier

During the climactic battle of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Steve and Bucky have their fight onboard the third and final helicarrier.

Both parties put up a good fight but Bucky manages to shoot Steve three times. Even when Steve drops his shield and refuses to fight his friend, Bucky ignores the cues and continues to punch Steve in the face repeatedly until he is close to death. It's only when Steve says "...cause i'm with you till the end of the line" that Bucky snaps out of his murdering mindset.

LOVED: When He Wouldn't Leave Steve Behind

Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers in Captain America The First Avenger

In Captain America: The First Avenger, Steve manages to successfully save Bucky from the Hydra base, and the two begin their escape back to Camp Leigh.

The Red Skull sets off numerous explosives that destroyed the Hydra base as Steve and Bucky are still inside. Even after Bucky manages to successfully get across to safety, Steve tells him to get out and save himself, but Bucky refuses to leave his friend behind.

HATED: Killing Steve's Air

Falcon and the Winter Soldier Bucky Flashback

In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, just after Steve gives his powerful speech about standing up to Hydra and ending their reign, a number of S.H.I.E.L.D pilots attempt to give him air but the Winter Soldier appears.

Not only does he blow up the planes, but he also kills a great number of the pilots by kicking them into the rotors, and throwing grenades into the plane doors as they close, leaving the pilots trapped to die.

LOVED: When He Flirted With Sam's Sister

Sam and Sarah in Falcon and Winter Soldier

In the most recent episode of The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, fans got to see a more relaxed environment for Bucky when he was helping Sam and Sam's sister to fix their parents' boat. It was in these scenes when the show had a much more light-hearted and charming tone as there were many comedic moments from Bucky.

One of which was when Bucky met Sam's sister for the first time and although it was a very short interaction, the way Bucky looked at Sam's sister and said "Hi...I'm Bucky," while smiling at her, gave fans a very charming and wholesome moment from Bucky Barnes.

LOVED: "Let's Hear it For Captain America!"

Bucky and the 107th clapping for Captain America

In Captain America: The First Avenger, Steve's biggest problem upon ing the army was fitting in with everyone else. Given his original size, he was always ridiculed by the others. Even after he received the serum, none of the other men in the army took him seriously.

After Steve went behind enemy lines to save the 107th he returns to everyone's great iration but it was  Bucky who initiated the large cheer with "Hey...let's hear it for Captain America!" before the whole army base applauds Steve Rogers for his actions.
