The Iron Man, which introduced Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark and set the tone for the subsequent movies, as well as the basis for the Avengers team-up and more.

The first three phases of the MCU, collectively known as the Infinity Saga, saw the Avengers, New Avengers, and Guardians of the Galaxy teams, as well as the division of Team Captain America and Team Iron Man in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the MCU will see new teams as the original Avengers line-up is now over, with Steve Rogers retiring and Black Widow and Tony Stark dead, and the rest going on their own ways.

This, however, doesn’t mean that the MCU will forget about the remaining Avengers, as it will continue expanding their stories, though not as before. Thor is the only one at this point who is getting another solo movie while the rest will be limited to TV appearances (for now, at least), but their appearances in the MCU’s Phase 4 mean that now every original Avenger will have their own team – here’s how.

Hawkeye, Kate Bishop, & Pizza Dog

Clint Barton & Kate Bishop in Hawkeye Disney+ MCU Show

Out of all the original Avengers, the one viewers feel didn’t get enough screen time was Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye. Clint Barton made his MCU debut in Avengers: Age of Ultron, took Captain America’s side in Captain America: Civil War, and then skipped Avengers: Infinity War as he was in house arrest (like Scott Lang). He returned in Avengers: Endgame, now as a vigilante after the vanishing of his family, and reunited with his teammates to make the time-heist happen. He and Black Widow traveled to Vormir to retrieve the Soul Stone, but they had to sacrifice someone they loved, and after fighting over it, Black Widow sacrificed herself in front of Hawkeye.

Barton is getting another chance in the MCU thanks to Phase 4’s Lucky the Pizza Dog, who will serve as their loyal sidekick as well as a companion that will surely help an emotionally and psychologically wounded Clint Barton following the intense and tragic events of Avengers: Endgame.

Hulk & She-Hulk

She Hulk Mark Ruffalo Hulk

The Hulk – or better said, Ruffalo is confirmed to reprise his role, and he will get to work with Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany), forming a one-of-a-kind team.

Black Widow died in Vormir so Hawkeye could get the Soul Stone, so she couldn’t be brought back when the Hulk reversed the snap, no matter how hard he tried to. However, Marvel fans will get to see her one last time in her solo movie, which is set between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. Yelena Belova (who will appear in Hawkeye), to properly and take an active part in this connected universe.

Existing Teams

Captain America Bucky Barnes Sam Wilson

The aforementioned teams are coming in the War Machine armor, and he was obviously by his side during the Civil War conflict. The third Captain America movie also introduced another popular superhero who ed Iron Man’s team: Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who was also his apprentice. Iron Man also counted on Vision’s for a while, but the android eventually went on his own way and stayed by Scarlet Witch’s side.

Captain America had his own team thanks to Bucky Barnes (once he got over the brainwashing and the Winter Soldier persona, of course) and Thor: Love & Thunder. Ragnarok also gave Thor his own superhero team, consisting of Bruce Banner, Valkyrie, and Loki, and which he called “The Revengers”. It’s to be seen how the MCU Phase 4 teams will impact each other and the rest of the movies and TV shows, but it’s fun to see how each original Avenger got their own team aside from the Avengers.
