Warning: Spoilers for Miles Morales: Spider-Man #33!A new version of The Fantastic Four could be manifesting thanks to Miles Morales. Since their debut in 1961, The Fantastic Four have been referenced as Marvel's first family and cited as among the first crop of superheroes introduced into its universe. While the core four have always been comprised of Mister Fantastic, The Thing, The Invisible Woman, and The Human Torch, Marvel periodically introduces alternate versions of the team.
The latest version of The Fantastic Four will be created by Miles Morales, starting in Miles Morales: Spider-Man #33 by Cody Ziglar and Marco Renna. Ahead of the comic book's May 14 release date, readers can find a preview of the issue below. The preview also features cover art by Federico Vicentini and Neeraj Menon.
After becoming a herald to the Spider-God Anansi, Miles is forced to fight on his behalf after Anansi challenges Ares to a Tournament of the Gods. Going into battle, Miles Morales fights alongside Thor, Hercules, and eventually, Powerlift.

Readers will notice that in the preview, Miles Morales is only ed by two fellow champions in the fight against Ares. Spidey will need to race against the clock to find his remaining champions, but readers already know he'll be ed by Marvel's newest hero, Powerlift. Marvel had announced in previous previews that the new Hulk would debut by beating up the gods. Before becoming a superhero, Powerlift already knew Miles Morales by serving as the psychiatrist, Dr. Keisha Kwan, helping him with his mental health throughout the series.
Dr. Kwan has already been a member of Miles' ing cast for quite some time now. Meanwhile, the longstanding history between Hercules and Thor has been well-documented, as the two gods have collided in combat as frequently as they have fought side-by-side. While Miles had not shared the page often with Hercules before this comic, he has run into Thor on numerous occasions and the duo formed a camaraderie through their teamwork. All four of these heroes have already been acquainted with each other before ing the battlefield together.

While Miles Morales and his trio of cohorts will be battling gods in this issue, some readers may wonder what the potential is for this new super-team to continue once the dust settles. As an ongoing team, readers shouldn't expect them to team-up every issue moving forward, as heroes like Thor will need to inevitably return to their own stories. However, there is potential for them to become a recurring team that occasionally teams up. Everyone is connected thanks to Miles Morales as a common thread, and through him, Marvel could continue revisiting them together at a later date.
