The season finale of Paramount+’s gritty crime drama The ending of episode 9 saw Conrad and Maeve Harrigan taken into police custody on suspicion of murder, which could speed up the timeline of the Harrigan/Stevenson war. With the head of the snake temporarily cut off, Richie could certainly make his move against the rest of the Harrigan operation to take control of London once and for all.
In addition to the overarching narrative surrounding London’s gun and drug trades, MobLand’s season finale will need to address several show-altering character subplots. Tom Hardy’s Harry Da Souza has never been in a more compromised position than he currently is, while Paddy Considine’s Kevin Harrigan will undoubtedly deal with the fallout from the murder he committed. There are several prevailing theories floating around about various subplots’ resolutions, and some of the most intriguing are all but guaranteed to be addressed in the season finale.

"No Wonder You Want To Leave": What Jaime Meant About Harry In MobLand
MobLand is careening towards an explosive finale, and the groundwork was laid in a combative meeting between Conrad Harrigan and Jaime Lopez.
7 Bella’s Plan Comes To Fruition
We’ll Find Out What Bella’s Endgame With Her Father Is
One of the most frustrating subplots in MobLand has to be the never-ending setup surrounding Bella Harrigan’s scheme with her politically-connected father. Heading into the final episode of the season, we still have no idea what it is she’s actually plotting towards. So far we have seen her engage with Antoine, the mysterious Frenchman who represents a Syrian arms dealer, and her father, with the ultimate goal of getting said arms dealer to sit down with the Home Secretary of the United Kingdom.
The season finale of MobLand will stream on Paramount+ on Sunday, June 1st, 2025.
What remains to be seen is what Bella gets out of this deal. We aren’t yet sure why she wants the sit-down to occur so desperately, and Harry has warned her off it several times. She’s clearly in over her head somewhat, as she’s already had to have Harry bail her out once after Antoine attempted to collect leverage over her. The season finale simply has to address Bella’s plan, and how it ties into the greater narrative (if it does at all).
6 Kevin’s “Other Brother” Is Revealed
A Popular Theory Will Be Confirmed Or Denied
Ever since Maeve made a comment about Kevin’s “other brother” at the end of episode 8, theories have flown about who she could be referring to, and why it sent Kevin into a rage. The far and away most popular theory is that Kevin’s son Eddie is actually Conrad’s son with Bella, thus making him Kevin’s half-brother as opposed to his son. Kevin snapping once again when Rusby brought up the subject of children lends further credence to this theory, as does the fact that Eddie shares clear similarities in personality with Conrad and none with Kevin.
At the beginning of episode 9 when he appears in Eddie's bedroom, Conrad refers to Eddie as "son", which could simply be a colloquial greeting, or an indicator of Eddie's real parentage.
There have been enough suggestions made in the series so far that the finale will need to address whether Eddie is in fact Conrad’s son or not. It seems likely now that the theory will be confirmed, and I believe we will discover the reason why Kevin would sign up for an arrangement like that. The entire situation may not be resolved in the season finale, but we are likely in for a bombshell or two regarding Eddie’s parentage and Kevin’s family.
5 Alice And Tattersall’s Scheme Backfires
Their Plot To Plant Evidence Has Yet To Be Executed
Something doesn't sit quite right with Tattersall's plan to have Alice steal DNA from the Harrigans so that it can be planted later to convict them once and for all. It seems odd that he would have Alice go through the danger of entering the Harrigans' manor to steal DNA if his plan was to hand them over to Richie as soon as they're in lock-up, as Richie requested. If his endgame really is to let Richie just take them out, why bother with the DNA at all? It seems like an unnecessary risk that could set off alarm bells with the Harrigans if Alice is caught.
There is also the matter of how easily Alice was able to get what she came for, despite the Harrigans appearing to be on to her (at least Conrad and Seraphina are, given her dinner table questioning). Conrad and Maeve even managed to pile up both of their DNA nicely in one grab, as Conrad put his cigar out in one of Maeve's empty drinking glasses. With Harry proceeding to let her go with the DNA samples despite catching her red-handed, it seems like the Harrigans are the ones setting Tattersall and Alice up, not the other way around.
4 Jan Tries To Leave Harry
Jan And Gina Will Try To Escape The Harrigans
Jan and Gina have dealt with an otherworldly amount of stress through absolutely no fault of their own thanks to Harry's job, and it seems like episode 9's armed police raid could be the breaking point for Jan. While Harry's job has always been dangerous and seemingly came before their marriage at every turn, the war with the Stevensons (and Harry's role in it) has now directly put Gina in harm's way, with the only "safe" haven being the home of a vicious crime boss who has already been inappropriate with Gina.
With Conrad and Mave out of the picture and chaos about to reign, it seems like the perfect opportunity for Jan and Gina to attempt a proper getaway. The catch is that both are still very much on the list of targets for Richie Stevenson given their association with Harry and the Harrigans, meaning that even if they leave the Cotswolds, they'll still be in mortal danger. Whether they actually manage an escape or not, it seems like Jan will at least make some sort of an attempt, or at the very least make her intentions known to Harry.
3 The Identity Of The Rat Is Confirmed
There Are Still Several Candidates
While the truth finally came to light about Maeve's involvement with Richie when it came to Brendan and Seraphina's kidnapping and the anonymous call to the police about Archie Hammond's body, there is still a rat to be revealed. Someone within the inner circle of the Harrigan crime organization has been feeding intel to Richie, and attempting to manipulate Conrad when it comes to the fentanyl game in London. Episode 9 may have hinted at the rat's identity, but there has been no legitimate confirmation thus far.

While it could certainly still be Maeve given her past involvement with Richie, the most likely candidate still appears to be O'Hara, and it appears Harry is on to her. It would have been her name that led to Freddie's death at Harry's hands, and the season finale will certainly see her true intentions revealed to all. There is still a big question to be answered, though: if Harry knows who the rat is, why hasn't he exposed her yet? As usual, Harry is likely three steps ahead of everyone else when it comes to what he's got planned for the rat.
2 Conrad And Maeve Finally Face Richie
He Finally Has Them Where He Wants Them
Conrad and Maeve were headed for some sort of lock-up after being arrested, and while they happily sang their way into the cop cars in handcuffs, they did so likely believing that O'Hara could get them back out quickly. What they don't know is that Tattersall now has the influence to keep them locked up somewhere and still let Richie walk in the back door. After all the murder and venom, the season finale should see Richie come face-to-face with Conrad and Maeve.
It seems unlikely that they will be killed in the first season, unless Helen Mirren and/or Pierce Brosnan have other commitments. That likely points to someone, most likely Harry and Kevin, saving them from Richie's wrath. If the confrontation actually occurs, it could mean the end of the Harrigan/Stevenson war before it's really even gotten going, so it wouldn't be a shock to see all of Conrad, Maeve, and Richie survive somehow to antagonize each other in the future.
1 Harry’s Favors To Kat Are Revealed
Kat McAllister Will Come For What’s Owed
The mysterious and evidently dangerous Kat McAllister now has two favors in her pocket from Harry, and there is no way the season finale es without directly addressing the nature of those favors. While very little has been revealed about Kat, it seems all but certain that she'll want to utilize Harry's skills as either a gunman or a tactician for her own nefarious purposes. What will be interesting is how they related back to the Harrigans, as both Conrad and Kevin seemed alarmed at the notion that Harry might owe Kat anything.
What would greatly complicate matters for Harry in MobLand would be if Kat asks him to do something that goes directly against his loyalty to the Harrigans. For example, if Kat is a high-level CIA or MI6 operative, as some theorize, it's possible she could call on him to betray the Harrigans to take them off the board. Conrad and Kevin's familiarity with her points to her being more criminal than law enforcement, so it's possible she could ask Harry to kill one or all of the Harrigans to further her own plans.
