Capcom has announced that it is currently working on several bug fixes in Monster Hunter Wilds for a few major issues surrounding features not unlocking due to bugs. Monster Hunter Wilds is already breaking records post-launch, but several technical issues and in-game bugs have caused negative reviews to pour in via Steam.

Today, Capcom states via the official Monster Hunter Status X page that they are aware of several bugs blocking player progression. While a timeline has not been provided for the fixes at the time of writing, players can take solace in the fact that the developers are aware and working to resolve them as quickly as possible.

Monster Hunter Wilds Features Are Not Unlocking Due To In-Game Bugs

Major Features Not Unlocking Regardless Of The Criteria Being Met

Monster Hunter Wilds has taken the world by storm in just a few short days, but the number of PC errors and bugs has left fans upset with the state of the title. Though the player counts on Steam are skyrocketing, the reviews are less than favorable due to game-breaking issues that have yet to be fully resolved.

Capcom announced several new bugs, including the "Grill a Meal" and "Ingredient Center" features not unlocking regardless of the player meeting the requirements to unlock them. This stops players from being able to utilize powerful buffs in combat to progress further in the game. Regarding this issue, Capcom states,

"We are currently working on this issue and will provide further updates when we have them. Thank you for your patience!" - Monster Hunter Status/X

They posted a few hours earlier as well, stating they were aware of another issue with the Smithy. Players are unable to use certain options due to the in-game tutorials repeatedly popping up even after completion, leaving them unable to upgrade their arsenal.
