Among the several entries released by the Digimon franchise over the years, fans have been introduced to some of the mightiest monsters that the anime industry has ever seen. The Digital World is a lawless land where only the strongest can survive, forcing its inhabitants to become stronger in hopes of seeing a better future.

From the mighty and iconic Omnimon, one of the most iconic characters from the Adventure season, to the extinction-level threat that is Galacticmon, there are several Digimon who could rule as the strongest. Yet, there is only one creature in the franchise who has the power to defeat any opponent, even deities: the youngest Royal Knight, Jesmon.

Jesmon Is the Hope of the Digital World

He Was Prophesied To Become an Unbeatable Warrior

To celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of the Digimon Adventure series, which has recently concluded after 25 years of bringing joy to fans, Bandai decided to release a special game: Digimon Collectors. This tale was based on the idea of a new generation of Royal Knights, the most popular group of warriors in the franchise, and had a small creature known as Hackmon as its protagonist. This Digimon was the pupil of Gankoomon, a member of the order who travels the Digital World looking for injustices to solve. The game went over Hackmon’s journey to become a strong warrior.

It was thanks to this brave Digimon that the Royal Knights were able to defeat Ogudomon, the fusion of all Demon Lords, who could not be hurt by any creature with darkness in their heart. Later, Hackmon evolved into the iconic Jesmon, one of the most powerful Digimon in the franchise. In this form, the already mighty monster became several times stronger, gaining access to legendary weapons, three companions who helped him in fights, and the most broken ability in the series. His ultimate attack, OS Generics, changes Jesmon’s code momentarily, making him able to break the laws of nature.

If the ability is active, the warrior becomes virtually invulnerable, as he can make his body resistant to all attacks. He can also overcome every kind of defense, making it almost impossible for his opponents to survive a battle against him. Once Jesmon acquires the X Antibody, a mutation in a Digimon’s DNA that unlocks their latent potential, this ability becomes even more powerful. Jesmon X can strip an opponent of their desire to fight, helping him end battles without causing damage. Yet, there is still another version of this warrior, far stronger than any other.

Jesmon Gx Is Digimon’s Mightiest Warrior

He Is the Next Evolution of the Franchise

In 2018, Bandai released a new manga series to promote the release of the X Series of V-pets, also known as Digimon Chronicle X. This manga was loosely based on the Collectors Game, following a similar story and with Jesmon once again as the protagonist. This adventure revolved around the battle between the Royal Knights and the Demon Lords, led by the sinister Lucemon. The leader of the dark Digimon wanted to use the power of the X Antibody to destroy all Digital Worlds across the multiverse and create a new one where every creature would live in peace.

To accomplish this goal, the Demon Lords fused into the imposing Ogudomon X, the living embodiment of Lucemon’s darkness and hatred. This terrifying creature, a perfect example of how messed-up creatures and themes help the franchise succeed, was close to immortal, being able to deflect and counter any attack, even from Jesmon X. To save the Digital World from destruction, Gankoomon X took his Antibody and fused it to the body of his pupil, creating the powerful Jesmon GX. This being was prophesied by Yggdrasil, the deity of the Digital World, to be the next step in evolution.

After a Drought, September Is Going to Be a Good Month For Digimon Fans

Digimon fans get excited, because the famous franchise is finally returning in September at its big convention, Digimon Expo ‘25 with exciting news.

Jesmon GX’s OS Generics became several times stronger than the original, giving this creature the ability to defy even the power of the deities of his world. With a single attack, the Royal Knight was able to destroy Ogudomon X, transforming the being back into an egg that he adopted to prevent its darkness from controlling them. Out of all the powerful and dangerous Digimon that have been introduced to the franchise, no one has been able to exhibit the same degree of power that Jesmon GX did during his final battle.

Digimon’s Power Creep Will Continue

Jesmon Gx Might Not Be the Strongest Soon

Jesmon fights Omnimon to kill Meicoomon.

One of the most representative traits of the Digimon franchise, seen in most of the best shows in the series, is the constant need to introduce creatures several times stronger with each new entry. This is mostly done to maintain interest in the franchise, as this helps each new anime feel unique and exciting for viewers. The Digimon who would have been considered the strongest during the Adventure era, like Omnimon, are now quite weak when compared to powerhouses like Jesmon. In the future, the youngest Royal Knight might be overpowered by a much stronger being with much more powerful abilities.
