Warning: Spoilers for Deadpool #6!Marvel's newest recover from a lore-changing injury. The costume is a pretty cool rendition of the Merc with a Mouth's iconic look with enough differences to make it her own. However, it has also been revealed to contain unique abilities.
In Deadpool #6 by Cody Ziglar, Rogê Antônio, Guru-eFX, and Joe Sabino, Wade celebrates sending Ellie on her first mission with Taskmaster by giving her a gift. Inside is a new Deadpool costume complete with a stylish hood and a brown jacket bearing Taskmaster's logo. However, the costume's secret abilities make it even more powerful than Wade's.
He mentions that the supersuit is made from "four layers of double-folded kevlar lining, insulated with fire-resistant impact gel," confirming that it's completely fireproof, much to the approval of Wade's other daughter, Princess.
Ellie's Fireproof Suit Makes Her Outfit Superior to Her Father's
She Has a Better Chance of Not Being Slowed Down than Wade
What's cool about this suit's special fireproof ability is how it sets Ellie up to be a more efficient Deadpool. While she shares her father's healing factor, the pain is still there, so she's vulnerable to being slowed down by her enemies. By making her suit completely invulnerable to fire, she can blast through explosive battlefields without having to worry about singes and burns. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that Ellie is completely invulnerable, as shown when a laser blast tears through her sleeve and scrapes her arm.

Deadpool's Ultimate Cosmic Upgrade Gave Him His Wildest Suit (and Worst Codename)
Deadpool isn't known for saving the universe, but he has done it numerous times, even using the cosmic power usually wielded by a true hero.
It's likely this addition was made by Wade with the hindsight that comes with many years of being an antihero. While he has dabbled with fireproof tech in some of his suits in the past, it was only for specific outfits that he'd need to equip ahead of time. Ellie's supersuit, however, is her main outfit, so she poses no risk of wearing the wrong one on specific missions. She'll be good to go no matter what situation arises, making this a far better suit than her father's.
Ellie's Deadpool Suit Comes with Shocking New Weapons (Literally)
Special Daggers Cement Ellie's Deadpool as a Totally New Hero
Alongside the fireproof tech, Ellie also quickly discovers that her father has also given her a set of daggers. While Wade specifically mentions that they're non-lethal, they're electrically charged to stun anyone she touches them with. These daggers perfectly set Ellie up as not just a daughter following in her father's footsteps. Instead, she's a totally new version of Deadpool with less of a focus on killing.
By taking away her father's keen talent for blades and firearms, Ellie is clearly being established as a more tactical Merc with a Mouth who must be aware of her surroundings to make use of her resources. She will likely use her weapons in a stealthier way than her father ever did.
Wade Wilson Encourages Ellie to Be Deadpool by Creating Her Supersuit
He Couldn't Be a Prouder Dad
The fact that Wade was the one who constructed Ellie's suit is actually a pretty beautiful moment for his current arc. Over the years, he's wrestled with being a parent to Ellie as he ducks in and out of her life. However, in recent issues, she's been playing a far more influential role by appearing far more often and helping Wade in his adventures.
Wade has missed a lot of events in Ellie's life, and he doesn't want to miss them anymore.
Once Wade couldn't fight on his own due to losing an arm and a leg to Death Grip, his decision to let Ellie fight for him ultimately feels like he's permanently accepting her into his life. He's missed a lot of events in her life, and he doesn't want to miss any more, especially when analyzing the precautions he put into her suit, such as the fireproof tech and shock daggers, to keep her safe. Now, with Deadpool finally dying as he was at his happiest, this new suit feels like the ultimate ing of the torch from father to daughter.
It's a bittersweet way to end Wade Wilson's story, but it's also a sweet one, especially knowing that he left his daughter with one last thing to let her know that he loves and s her. There's no telling when Wade will return from the icy grips of death, so until then, Ellie will only have this suit to him by, making her a far more vengeful fighter. Thankfully, her Deadpool suit comes with enough gadgets to make her even more powerful than Wade as she begins her journey as Marvel's newest antihero.
