After the credits roll in One Piece Odyssey, players are questioning if they can continue their adventures through the use of a New Game Plus (NG+) setting that sees their accumulated experience, skills, abilities, and items for every member of the Strawhat crew carry over into a new beginning. With a plethora of collectible items, bounties, side stories, and other missions players may have missed on a first playthrough, the presence of NG+ would give players the opportunity to revisit areas of the game without having to acquire certain character traits all over again.

As of this time of writing, there seems to be no active New Game Plus present in the game, nor are there any indications of replayable missions or chapters once the final cutscenes have played. Although this may come as a disappointment to many players, there are strong hints that such a mode will be coming soon, as NG+ remains a highly sought after feature in similar JRPG titles like One Piece Odyssey. Only time will tell if New Game Plus eventually does arrive to this sprawling adventure throughout the iconic locations in One Piece, but players have several ways to maximize their experience without the need for this mode.

What to Accomplish in One Piece Odyssey Without the Need for New Game Plus

There are several main story events in One Piece Odyssey that give the player plenty of time to explore a region before progressing to completely new areas, so there remains a lot of content to experience without going straight for the primary mission. Side stories, individual bounty fights, and unlocking character skills through memory cubes are all valid pursuits players may engage in without any worry of time restriction.

Although the game does get significantly easier without a New Game Plus to ramp up the difficulty with maxed-out characters, players still have chances to travel around the world of One Piece Odyssey regardless.

In addition to standard side content, players might wish to explore Bond Charge Levels between characters in the crew. Special attacks that players have a large possibility to miss during the staggering amount of combat encounters are able to be accessed through built-up relationships through specific actions that other of the party.

The dynamic interactions between these characters hold a lot of charm that becomes enhanced further through these new combat options. While nothing at this moment carries over into a New Game Plus mode in One Piece Odyssey, everything that has yet to be explored does not hide from truly eager players.
