The rest of the gang agree to go on a road trip to Texas to get him, and they eventually find themselves crashing another high school's prom. This episode gets references a lot among fans because it's the episode the characters bond together to save Mouth in the most hilarious way.

It is a mission just for them to get to Texas, and they have a funny encounter with Chris Keller. There are many hilarious and wholesome quotes throughout this episode that fans might . This is also a sweet episode for Haley and Nathan fans. Things are coming to an end for the characters as the end of high school seems to be near. The characters seem to be tying up loose ends, which works overall for the stories in the end.

Season 4: "Pictures Of You" (9.3)

A class assignment pairs up the characters with one another in order to get to know who they truly are. It's a classic episode that gets to the bottom of secrets and desires of each character and takes place through the entirety of this highly rated season 4 episode With each pairing comes deep and meaningful conversations about being young and what they truly didn't know about the other.

It tests stereotypes in high school and tackles the idea that there is more than meets the eye. Fans might recognize this episode as the episode Brooke and Chase get paired up, and he learns all the insecurities that face someone like Brooke, who seems to have it all. It also reveals Lucas and his true ion for writing.

However, just as everything seems to be going well, a devastating moment sees Hayley get hit by a car after pushing Lucas out of the way, and fans are left on a cliffhanger as to her status.

Season 3: "With Tired Eyes, Tired Souls, We Slept" (9.7)

After being bullied by classmates, Jimmy Edwards returns to school with a mission and a gun. This incredibly dark episode features the characters secluded in various rooms in the school while never knowing when the terror will end and who will come out alive.

The series deals with several serious life issues, but nothing was more terrifying than the school shooting. It was handled extremely well, and it opened up conversations about bullying, mental health, safety, and relationships. This event changed the trajectory of the series, and most of the characters were dealing with repercussions for several seasons after it happened.
