The debut season will consist of 10 episodes and will air every Friday at the same time.

It's unclear how this release will impact the arrival of Outlander season 8, but with filming on the series concluded in September 2024, it could come at any moment. A Brand-New Cast For The Prequel

The two main couples have been cast, and it is now known that Harriet Slater and Jamie Roy will play younger versions of Jamie's parent Ellen and Brian, and Hermione Corfield and Jeremy Irvine will play Julie and Harry, Claire's future parents.

Sara Vickers is set to play Davina Porter, Brian Fraser's mother, while Sally Messham is Mrs. Fitz, Ellen’s maid. Finally, Terence Rae has been tapped to play the role of Arch Bug, a bodyguard for the Grant clan.
