Pixar have new movies in the works like the next release in 2023, Elemental. The latest Pixar film that hit theatres and can now be watched on Disney+ is the Toy Story prequel, Lightyear.
While not much is known about Elemental, Lightyear was full of action, suspense, and even a familiar villain — Zurg. Not every Pixar movie has a villain but most villains are given the fate they deserved. This could be seen as a tad dark for animated movies but it's normal for the main characters (or heroes) to save the day against the evil villain. On Reddit, Disney fans have agreed these villains got the fate they were given, but some were grim.
Hopper (A Bugs Life)
Hopper was one of the better Pixar villains because he was funny, entertaining, and threatening to a colony of hardworking ants. In A Bug's Life, Hopper's group of nasty grasshoppers bullied a colony of ants for food before the rainy season.

After being compliant for years, an ant named Flik had an idea to defeat Hopper. And while Flik's idea wasn't as smooth as he hoped, he died a grim death. Lauren2102319 told Reddit that Hopper had the worst death among Pixar's group of villains. "If I had to choose which one, I might say Hopper because you really see the terror on his face when he realizes what's happening to him and it was scary for me at times to watch that scene when I was very young back then."
Buddy Pine (The Incredibles)
Buddy Pine was a wannabe superhero who turned to a life of villainy after Mr. Incredible rejected his help as a kid. As an adult, Buddy used his gift for inventions and became a villain called Syndrome.
The Incredibles because of his ruthlessness, but in the end, he wasn't strong enough to defeat the Parr family. RSpudieD felt that Buddy's death was one of the worst, writing, "My vote would be Buddy from The Incredibles because getting your cape caught in a plane engine is both totally predictable (thanks Edna!) and painful!"
Lots-O (Toy Story 3)
Lots-O appeared in Toy Story 3. At first, he was an adorable stuffed teddy bear who controlled the toys at a local daycare. But as Andy's toys found out, he was a villain, trapping toys where they didn't belong.
Andy's toys did a great job of escaping the daycare and finding their way home, but Lots-O never gave up haunting them. When the group found themselves inside an incinerator at the local dumpster, Lots-O escaped and was able to help Andy's toys — but he never did. Luckily, the likes of Woody and Buzz survived and Lots-O found his future stuck to the front of a Mack Truck. Jem12901 explained their reasons for Lots-O being the worst. "His dictatorship at Sunnyside gives off Josef Stalin vibes, and his treatment of Big Baby is eerily similar to that of an abusive parent."
Charles Muntz (Up)
opened with a death scene. And thanks to the villainous Charles Muntz, the movie became more dramatic.
Charles was a famous explorer once ired by Carl and Ellie, but his obsession with a tropical bird led him down a lonely path where he was willing to kill anyone who got in his way. After attempting to kill Carl and Russell for the bird in Carl's floating house, Charles tripped on a balloon string and fell to his death. BrownSandels felt that Charles' death was the grimmest because of his final look. They wrote, "He looks at the freaking camera as he falls, [making] it even more unsettling and they don’t cut away for several seconds either so you see him fall pretty far before they finally cut away."
Mr. Waternoose (Monsters, Inc.)
Mr. Waternoose didn't die at the end of Monsters, Inc. but he was one of the more corrupt and vile villains in the Pixar realm. As the CEO of Monsters, Inc., he was in control of providing the city with energy from the screams of children. Learning this was one of the more emotional moments.
As viewers found out later, he was willing to kidnap and kill human children for the betterment of his company and city. Sulley and Mike were able to save the day and Mr. Waternoose was last seen being dragged away by the CDA. It's one of the darker endings for a Pixar movie because of what he did. Sparta981 explained, "Waternoose participated in a huge misdirection campaign to profit from the amplified suffering of harmless creatures." This made him a target for even more crimes if he got released.
Stinky Pete (Toy Story 2)
While Al McWhiggin was the human villain, Stinky Pete was the toy villain in the saddest moments in Toy Story 2, but it didn't give him a right to keep Woody from his home.
Woody escaped Pete's threats, but not without making sure Pete lived his next life in agony: as a child's toy without his box. While this ending doesn't sound grim, it's not an ending Pete envisioned for himself. AtomicSpiderMan wrote, "Stinky Pete resented kids because he was never chosen on a dime store shelf. The last thing he wanted was to be played with instead of preserved forever. When he’s strapped to the backpack at the end of TS2, you can tell he looks terrified."
Ernesto De La Cruz (Coco)
Ernesto de la Cruz started as a celebrity and beloved musician who died and lived in the Land of the Dead. However, the more Miguel dug for more information, the more he found out about Ernesto's evil side.
It was an emotional moment in Coco when Miguel found out that Ernesto murdered his great-great-grandfather. To avenge his grandfather, Miguel went on a mission where he eventually came head-to-head with Ernesto. With Pepita's help, Ernesto died (yet again) after being crushed by a bell. ThisPaige agreed that Ernesto had one of the worst endings, saying, "Ernesto’s would have sucked too, getting crushed to death sounds so painful too."
Chef Skinner (Ratatouille)
Chef Skinner was a sous chef at the famed restaurant Gusteaus in Paris. From the start, Skinner loathed Linguini because of his connection to Auguste Gusteau — the restaurant's late owner.
Skinner didn't want to lose the restaurant to someone like Linguini and did what he could to run him out of town. In the end, Linguini and his rat Remy came out on top. However, Skinner had a tough ending after Remy and his family bound and gagged Linguini after tossing him into the refrigerator. Furthermore, one Redditor reminded those that he also ran into the Seine River and the moment made the newspaper! "Chef Skinner is angry at Linguini's success. But Skinner is also getting some media attention; there's an article about him jumping into the Seine River."
Sid Phillips (Toy Story)
Among the four movies, Sid was one of the evilest Toy Story villains. As a young boy, his main hobby was torturing toys and wreaking havoc on those around him. Toys like Woody feared him for what he was capable of.
StuartRomano114 told Reddit that Sid was one of the worst villains but he had a grim ending because of how the toys revealed themselves to him. "Sid gained a lot of trauma for his actions, even though he was just trying to be creative and find escapism from his rough childhood, and he had no idea the toys were sentient."
